I think this thread should be nipped in the b pdq.

There's a danger some spud lawyer will take umbrage and start asking where we suddenly found £100 million!

It's fine, relax.........I have been primed to answer any questions from any Lawyer.....and THE NSC bank account based in Zurich will be fine as well

Always amuses me how Redknapp has this reputation as some kind of transfer wheeler dealer genius. Yes, he's picked up a few bargains in his time, but generally he achieves this by signing as many players as humanly possible (no doubt completely unconnected to the fact he was- legally of course- entitled to a cut of the fee). If you chuck enough darts, eventually a few will hit the board. 'Arry has had more than his fair share of total disasters in the transfer market.

Remember Yoshi Kawaguchi, keeper who turned up at Pompey, in no way whatsoever a shameless attempt to appeal to the Japanese market? Marco Boogers? Florin Raducioiu?

Surely if you have a boss who lets you get away with stretching the purse strings....the fault lays at the Chairman and directors etc......Like most football clubs that go tits up....invariably it is down to the people at the top who let the club down.........Now where have I heard that before??? Oh yes, i saw my first Brighton game at the Goldstone...........(RIP)

Hitony, I wish you would learn how to quote properly. If you are going to delete anything of the stuff you quote, make sure you don't delete any etc.

Sort it out man!

can you teach me everything you know please :) I can only apologise for my tragic mistake, i will obviously pay for any trauma you are suffering through this, i will plead guilty and I can assure you it will not happen again...............Oh!!...............

(Ps: I didn't actually delete any text, just a slip of the old cursor )

Edit: Just realised I am a mere amature compared to your 43K posts  )

I totally agree with your point of view, but surely many people come into that catagory? .......Some Bankers? SomePoliticans? SomeChairman of some companys...it goes on but I'm sure you see where i'm coming from............

Sure but if someone commits a crime whether it be fraud, murder or whatever you can't judge it by what others have done or not done if he's guilty he's guilty. Once they've done him go for the other greedy bastards I say

So for a guy whose managerial career has spanned 3 decades who signs as 'many players as humanly possible' you are able to name only 3 'disasters'............................perhaps your criticism of him shows how astute his dealings in the transfer market generally are........and where Spurs were in Oct 2008 to where they are now is proof that he is able to spend wisely.

And lets not forget in this 'innocent until proven guilty.'

Does anyone know if the tape that the court is currently hearing of an interview between 'Arry and a News of the World reporter was gifted to HMRC or they had to go chasing it? He is going to have one hell of a job talking his way out of it IMO

Redknapp's barrister revealed today that 'Arry lost £250K invested in Oxford United.

Now I know they weren't in the same division as any of Harry's teams but is it acceptable that a footballer/football manager should be able to gamble on (same thing as invest in, as this loss shows) another club - surely some potential conflict of interest?

"Harry could be facing a contemt of court charge", warned the Judge, if he dosnt stop winking and nodding at the jury.

Are 'Arry and Milan on speaking terms these days? Everything we've heard so far suggests they're going to be blaming each other for the shenanigans, and the report from yesterday has Redknapp saying that Mandaric was jealous because Harry was more popular with Pompey fans than he was. Hard to imagine they'd still be mates.
