Many years ago I was seeing a girl and she bought me a hampster for Valentine’s Day

She probably wanted a romantic weekend in Hamsterdam.

Twenty eight years ago today I took Mrs Bravo Lima to see Mrs Doubtfire at the Odeon. In love ever since .[emoji3590] [emoji3590]

25 years ago today I took my future Mrs to La Cage Au Folles at the Theatre Royal Brighton, it's always been regarded as our official 'first date'. The show was very good too!

Some real misery guts on here, Mrs Jakarta got a nice new fluffy bath robe plus a big box of Hotel Chocolat mix.

Fillet Steak and a bottle of Rioja tonight.

It is NOT just another day...

It is just another day.

Opportunity to get a few M&S and Waitrose Valentine meal deals.

So far we've had the lamb rack from M&S with duck parfait, the Waitrose Mussels and Duck Breast, M&S Coquille St Jacques and steak tonight, and a Waitrose Roquefort tart and Beef Bourguignon for later in the week. The wine was a bit of an effort, but what's not to like

It was stated on Look North East earlier that the North East spends the most on average on Valentines Day - £130! WTF! No wonder they haven't got any money. I told my wife she was £126.50 short.

No gifts/tat, couple of days away instead, late lunch and a bottle of fizz. Surprisingly good hotel in Guildford…….big suite at close to Premier Inn prices. Brownie point account topped up, almost enough to break the news about going to Newcastle away on the lash :laugh::laugh:
