Everywhere
And tonight my opinion is that we have been hammered by a team that will finish mid-bottom of championship.

Because we did last year and our squad is pretty much the same just we haven't got the flying start we had last year

Nor have we got the 6 defeats in a row so far, either.

EDIT: Good to see Mackenzie Crook with a Mexican tash.

We've got a (much) better keeper, a (much) better left back, a (much) better right back, a better central midfielder, and a new striker hasn't been ruled out yet. On top of that, our existing players have a years Championship under their belt, so hardly the same squad.

I thought Barnsley did much better once they double-subbed the booked fullbacks, but I think we took our foot off the gas a bit too!

we took out foot off the gas, got the clutch down, put the gear down one, and then took up the clutch and slowed down!

they stayed the same, we just tried to pass it around ALL of their players with the respect (or lack, thereof) the Barnsley team deserved.

Just seen these...

Goalkeeper couldn't catch syphilis in a Thai brothel, defence tore apart time and again mainly due to a midfield who were nonexistent , a center forward who made my mum look mobile , and a lack of appetite for a fight that was embarrassing , should I go on?

That 'keeper is fcuking awful. Brighton looked like scoring every time they got near him. Lots of desperate last-ditch tackles and a hack off the line kept the score down.
Knowing the 'keeper is so tragic put the defenders under a lot of pressure, and they couldn't deal with it. We looked a bit better when Hassell and Crainie came on, but it might have been because Brighton had eased off.
Harewood and Mellis anonymous. The former has a heart the size of a pea. Davies the touch of a rapist. Bloke near us asleep half the game. 297 very hardy, disappointed souls.

We played better and were sharper against Cardiff because we were matching a much better side.

We were costing today in second gear we did'nt need to raise our game against this lot of no hopers. When you are beating someone so easy you take your foot off and get a bit sloppy.

If we played at the same intensity as the first 20 minutes it could have been 7 or 8.

Glad to see we're not the only club with deluded fans:wink:

We'll see who is average as the season goes on, but Barnsley were absolutely shocking today, any team in the Championship would have easily beaten them I think.

Impressive result today considering of the 14 players we used 8 of them were with us in league 1 , another was signed from a league one side (CMS), one was from youth development and one used to play league 1 & 2 (Harley).

Tougher sides to come than barnsley though.
