I have no issue with people leaving before half time to get a drink or whatever. But don’t then expect to force your way back down the stairs to your seat just after the whistle has gone when 99% of people are going the opposite way down to the concourse. And that includes the dhead in WSL who had a rant because he couldn’t get back to his seat. It’s generally good to use a bit of common sense and wait until the flow of people has stopped.

Block C WSL. Same bloke every match tries to get back to his seat as hundreds try to get to the concourse. Absolute knob
It’s you west standers…..we are refined in the North and always allow a free flow of people up and down the stairs.

Same on the walkway towards the bridge car park past the trains. There's room for about 8 wide there. But stewards on either side creating a bottle neck to only 6 people causing queues = dumb

Never an issue in the North Shelf. Never a queue for the toilet either.

Personally I have a rant at anyone who leaves their seat early or arrives back late. If you don't want to watch the entire match then stay at home.
Have you ever considered that many arriving back “late” after HT have been stuck in a massive queue for most of HT (because they didn’t leave “early”) -and that’s the reason they’re arriving back late?

Thought not.

I have no problem with anyone leaving earlier. It’s those who then try and get back to their seats literally just after the half time whistle when everyone else decants. If they give it 5 minutes they can wander down unimpeded! I mean, it’s not as if they are going to miss Gullys Girls half time acrobatic display is it?

Alcohol is the one thing that makes watching multi-millionaires cheat, time waste, feign injury, and look like they’ve been shot whenever touched bearable. I can drink a pint in the time it takes Arsenal to take a single corner.

Almost as good as the fools who try and go up the stairs to west upper after the final whistle as 000’s of us are going down them
That’s just plain stupid, I usually stay behind on the WSU concourse but thankfully haven’t seen anyone doing it when I have left on the final whistle

Some of us prioritize football over booze and food though. I think there should be separate blocks for people with different intents. For instance an early leavers block, a leave before half time block for annoying against the flow returners, and a block for those that want to boo the team.

That's not what he said. Read it again.
