I’m in a similar kind of boat to Stat. Something isn’t sitting right and I sense the players feel it as well. I’m not going to pin Lewis’s performance against Belgium on RDZ, but a lack of conviction in our play seems to have permeated the squad.

Still, we’ve got a fresh start now and time to make it another great season. Let’s go out and win every game!
The shame is that our "easier" run if games is now over. Even if we do pick up form, we might not pick up points. I dobfeel like this season is shot and feel far less confident that we can turn over a top side.

A quick look through X posts would suggest that the majority of Liverpool fans do not want RDZ and if they can’t get Alonso want Amorim all day long over RDZ
Hopefully, many will have changed their minds by Monday!

RDZ does seem to be ‘second favourite’ for most of the big jobs coming up in the summer though.

Well, presumably it's the bad results like Luton, Roma and Everton that have put you off.

Rather than RDZ' comments that he needed to do better as coach in the games we've squandered points.
You presume wrong.

I couldn’t see it going down particularly well with the scousers when he decides to rotate Alison and Kelleher every 2 games……..

I’m not convinced he’s ready yet, I honestly think his best LONG TERM career choice would be to see his contract out here, especially if as rumoured TB is looking to tweak our transfer strategy this next window. I fear the damage of January might be done though.

What damage?

RDZ knew what he was signing up for and one of the true cornerstones of transfer policy is 'January isn't really our thing'.

Apart from the few odds and sods we do buy in the January window.

Yes Caicedo and Mac Allister were January signings, but neither were signed as first team ready players which is what we on the whole don't do in January.

Neither of whom arrived at the club.

Caicedo joined straight away, he didn't go out on loan until the start of the 21-22 season.

I‘m not sure most players have gone backwards - JPvH, Adingra, WBG, JP, Hinsh, Bart, Welbz….all seem to have made decent progress this season. Probably more.
Has Adingra progressed? WBG barely played last season but now is (out of necessity) , Welbz ??

Dunk, Ferguson, Mitoma, Steele, Pervis, Veltman maybe all key in form players yesterday who have looked to gone backwards this season

Does it really matter ? This club is bigger than any individual. The way the club is structured ensures that the succession process will lead to the inevitable appointment of a top class successor. Keep the faith !

You’re right, we should be pleased that our manager and players are coveted by richer clubs and take it as a compliment. It’s not easy though is it so can understand the angst. Somehow we need to chill and trust in the owner. In the words of the Potter, it is what it is! :D

Yes but the club need to tell us what their plan is, and how they have costed it

If the don't I may as well stick with Palace.

Yes Adingra has progressed. What did you expect for his first season in the Premier League?

I don't think they've gone backwards necessarily - just an individual and collective dip in form due to injuries and too many games (those injuries preventing as much rotation as we would have liked). It happens.

1 assist as a winger is progression from 0 I guess. And almost all his goals were against teams in the bottom 3

Eh?? We've rotated more than any other club in the PL this season, by a country mile!

I can’t imagine that psychologically they have been filled with confidence by the constant moaning from their manager complaining about fatigue and lack of options either. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes but RDZ has let himself down by spending half of his pre and post match interviews making what sound to me like veiled swipes at the clubs hierarchy. He should just get on with the job and keep this shit behind closed doors imo. Not a good look.

Players developing isnt straight forward sometimes they get better even if they play worse. Especially those who came this summer no way of knowing Robertos impact on them yet theyre still all adapting to new level we have seen with Alexis and many others it can take a lot of time. Van Hecke is the stand out for me when talking improvement while Im not sure whats been done with poor Webster

I'm glad it's not just me that's pleased we're doing our bit to further strengthen the elite clubs. Nothing better than seeing Ali Mac in a Liverpool shirt, Bissouma in a Spurs shirt, Tossard in an Arsenal shirt. It gives you a warm glow knowing that little old BHA are doing our bit for these great clubs as fits our station, great clubs desperately short of existing talent and who always need more of it to keep the league competitive from top to bottom.
