Wasnt it near enough the same at Palace last month ? They had a crap start and some of their fans wanted Dougie out, then results improved and he was a saint - and then he of course left.

If results improved, i bet that most of those who want him out will quite happily want him to stay.

Such is human nature and the fickleness of the average footy fan. It's all about results.

The problem is we can see exactly the same things happening as per last season.

season ends after 15 games then?

Of course not - but for me this will ring major alarm bells. TB will expect us to make the play-offs as a minimum this year and 18 points from 15 games is simply not good enough.

The realistic situation IMHO is this >>>
Gus is frustrated with Blooms lack of financing player wise (obvious really to anyone)
I think he will walk in Jan if not before, unless he is given the funds now or a solid guarantee by the board
that he will have £5-8 million to spend in Jan.
We need an animal in front of goal who shows no mercy and a holding/killer ball specialist in midfield.
That is all !!!

Every team in this league is capable of beating every other team on a given day. We are not getting battered by anyone. In fact we are bossing home games.
The issue concerning me the most is if we go behind in a game then we are just too easy to defend against, this is mainly down to the fact that there is not enough variation in our play, which is down to a lot of our players being too similar....we have no plan B. because we don't have the player in the squad for a plan B.
Gus's subs are also becoming too predictable.

Way too early to be calling for a new manager.

At last a totally sensible and correct post.
This league is insane this season, a few weeks ago I had Blackpool as clear champions with Ince, Taylor-Fletcher and Palace were relegation fodder
We need to stay in this league though, if this form continues and we are in the bottom 6 over the xmas period, then questions will need to be asked.
2 wins and we are back in the mix. There is truely some very pathetic and childish posts on here tonight.
Oh and BTW those club lickers are called fans.

To be fair we only have to look at the candidates for Palace to see that most options would not be any good at all.

This reply could have been reduced to one word, but I might get another infraction, so I'll type shit instead

Even if we got relegated and you produced such a poll you'd still get the same outcome. We'll lose Saturday and the same people will say he's the best, even if we lose the next 15 games the same people will say he's the best. Think Dementia has set in early for loads on here.
