Its intriguing about bailey isn't it...we got to our highest position ever...on grinding out results...if i remember correctly crowds weren't that happy with the style of football...which was often slow...playing it sideways etc..didnt he eventually get sacked for us being boring?.my memory is hazy ..but i remember the crowds reaction well....its a style that isn't a million miles from where we are now.

Bailey .is he still alive? would be a great halftime guest when we play wolves next year

The main reason was crowds dropped to around 13,000 mark when we needed 20+ to break even,or there about..Although at that time Football violence was a disease in this country and crowds were down everywhere..Looking back now,sacking him didnt really improve our fortunes did it?
