i just got back from watford and for me it was the worst performance under poyet's tenure. I cant think of any positives other than by some miracle we werent losing at half time. We looked very disjointed and didnt know weather to pass it or play it long. Good that Poyet is angry he should be i bloody was probably spent £65.00 quid tonight on fuel tickets and food and a beer. What is it 8 games without a win - barnsley becomes massive now. I have no answers but tonight was very worrying and very depressing. We were abject not one save by their keeper. If we keep losing and playing like this Mr Poyet may have to be forced to "go home".

just listened to it....not impressed with:

1) "the players earn nothing" - this disrespects the fans.
2) "im not selling anything [finishing above 10th]" - err the other week it was all "we need to stay in the top pack"

I tend to agree with that. We know from day one Buckley is a matchwinner, but we just haven't had him. The problem comes if while we're waiting for all our players to come back, we lose so many games that the players do what Gus has accused them of tonight, losing faith in their ability to play his way and hoofing it. After which things can only get worse, because that's not our style.

Your problem scenario is worrying tooting gull but there aint much anyone can do about that. these fringe players are just gonna have to step up to the plater and perform a little harder. what they lack in ability they need to address in effort. But asking them to play this barca style football is crazy in my opinion. like i said before - its like asking a bunch of morons to do the times crossword. its not going to happen unfortunately

Glad he's angry. Should be. With himself in all likelihood more than the players. We all still trust his judgement and he'll get us going again eventually I have no doubt.

I have complete faith in Gus to turn this around but he's gonna have to buck up his ideas and realise that he's part of the blame, some of the decisions he makes really does confuse me.

The performances are getting worse as are our results. Don't care if Gus does go home now. Just back from Watford & completely hacked off. Utter useless tonight.

1. El Abd
2. Vicente/Dicker
3. Buckley
4. Hoskins
5. Bridcutt (missing for 70 minutes)
6. Reyes

All missing tonight who would be in first 11, maybe not Hoskins.

I still believe in Gus, and I honestly wouldn't swap him for any other manager in the Championship. But he's being tested, he needs to meet that challenge, and I'd rather he didn't keep threatening to take his ball and run home, even if he doesn't mean it.

Having expected not much more than team building and survival this season. I'm finding Gus far more interesting than he was when we were consistently winning. Listening to Gus as the season unfolds is where the interest lies. The beautiful game is played in the mind, not just on the pitch.

With the greatest of respect to our leader, he has to accept the blame when things go wrong, as after all this is his team.

All the summer purchases were his purchases.

It has not gone without notice that the mob along the coast have virtually the same players as last year, without any big signings like CMS, and they are doing not bad at all (damn!)

Come on Gus, yes we believe, but after the 'shambles' tonight (and that really is being polite) it needs more than just threatening to go home. Our club, and our supporters, especially those at Vicarage Road tonight, deserve better.

I suggest you take a deep breath, go to sleep, and think about that comment in the morning. If you still feel the same then fair enough.
