Thought it was all a bit of dross, until I saw the interview on Sly. personally, I thought Gus came across as being very cheap. I'm all for him moving on if he wishes but his constant remarks about the chairman understanding, and it will be difficult was uncalled for and imo disrespectful.
In all things Gus needs to be a little more professional.

Time to ignore gus's comments from now on as it winds people up,don't like managers who talk about the chelsea's and tottenham's when his focus should be 100% with us,yes us the club who had given him everything he wants.

Maybe its just a south american thing mmmmmmmmm,so disrespectful to our club and chairman:annoyed:

He has said that he isn't interested at the moment as he's not ready for it. He would like it in the future though.

This was in response to a direct question on the day after Fabio resigned. Can't be bothered to find it, but I'm guessing it's in the seagulls player archives.

Not sure why they keep link GP and DF, completely different, DF has been at palace years so obviously has stronger links to them then GP does us.

Furthermore if a Spurs or Chelsea came in for DF he'd be gone like a shot whether he said he wouldn't or not, Initially I found these comments annoying but tbh I respect GP honesty and integrity he is linked with Spurs/Chelsea as he has links with both clubs, Yes we are a stepping stone for GP we all know that, All we ask in return is enjoyable football and good results and in that regard its been great.

Rather that than rotting in SP with DF lying to us, who if he does well will leave (yet deny it until the end) and if he doesn't do well they will continue to stagnate but hey they will have their fravourate man in charge.

It might wind you up but it doesn't do that to me. I don't find it disrespectful either as he isn't saying anything differently.

Damn. In that case I'll have to come up with some other irrelevant crap.

We haven't given him everything he wants. He wants 35k or more fans watching his team, and he wants a squad worth hundreds of millions. And to think he's not concentrating on his job, just because he is capable of answering interview questions is daft. If he's not concentrating, maybe we'd have won this league by now if he was.

If our chairman felt disrespected I'm sure he'd be able to sort it. I don't feel disrespected at all, I feel privileged.
