Not what I meant - membership is free to get GUEST tickets not the odd pass on of a season ticket. Yes I’m well aware of why it’s cheaper to get a season ticket many thanks - the gap between season ticket price per match and match by match tickets is way too big. And no, I have a season ticket and rarely miss a game myself thanks. You assumed a lot wrong there - the club are allowed to be criticised occasionally…but thats all wrong isnt it- you dont need to pay for membership, its free, match day tickets are more expensive than season tickets=well duh thats the whole reason people buy season tickets-, there are literally no hurdles unless you invent them yourself. Season tickets are cheaper than match day tickets BECAUSE you commit to attending all the matches.
what you really mean is you want the cheaper prices without compiling with the conditions .
What law is it please and how many arrests have been made for people attending a football match in someone else’s name? Pls link the law here. It’s always been illegal - just because it worked fine before doesn’t mean it wasn’t illegal.
There are approx 700 tickets available for todays game inc two of mine which I would have given to work colleague/ friend or sons friend.
Unless they sell soon, which I doubt, seats will be empty as will many others in same boat.
If I was 1901 I could give them to anyone at the push of a button.
You like many others are happy with situation.....I like some am not.

Sorry phone playing up! Seen that and replied above. It’s only ‘illegal’ if the club refuse to grant permission. More greed. All clubs the same it’s not just us.see post #25

I see they have sold now, which is good, but you could have bought your seats in your friends names on the exchange, asked them for a tenner each, you would have your money back and your friends would have gone to the game.
Surely they would have been happy to pay a tenner for an Albion ticket?
Or they could have done it themselves, but yeah. Would just need their fan numbers"you could have bought your seats in your friends names on the exchange" really ?

Someone who presumably doesn’t know how to search the internet asked for themOf course yes......Sure all of us know and have read these.
Everything these days seems to be how to make things as complicated as possible.
However admit I`m a technophobe.
This is NOT greed by the club(s). The club have to have measures in place to comply with the 1994 Act.Sorry phone playing up! Seen that and replied above. It’s only ‘illegal’ if the club refuse to grant permission. More greed. All clubs the same it’s not just us.

You don't need to know about or read them. The club put processes in place in order to comply. We then just follow that process.Of course yes......Sure all of us know and have read these.

You are forgetting that it's now a requirement that clubs know who is attending. Hence the process that's in place - not just the Albion, but other clubs too.Of course it is. The ‘act’ that’s from the Man U website I notice, clearly says ‘without authorisation of the club’. So the club could say it’s fine to pass on tickets (like we always did at Withdean, the Amex etc etc for years) and you could. It’s 100% down to the club as it used to be fine to do and not ‘illegal’. People swallow up what the club say in this one waaaaay too easily.
The club also has to follow Premier League rules. These changed just last summer, apparently.Of course it is.
