I hope you're not as miserable as you come across. No hint of sarcasm there. The "eternity" it took me to reply is largely due to my insomnia, and reaching for my phone to keep me entertained for a few more minutes. Nothing to see here, I am going to change apps and help a distressed frog cross the road.

Happy birthday

1st goal as you say was a training ground free kick right down the centre which a defender or two should have cut out.
2nd goal Greer and Bruno beaten on our right and the ball played across the goal mouth should have again been cut out but it wasn't where was Dunk sitting on his a..e
3rd goal crossed from our right and picked up in the centre of the goal by Navarro and shot again should have been cut out as indeed all balls in the centre of the goal should.

So glasses not needed only to drink out of.

El Abd I am sure would have got his body or foot in the way of at least one of those goals.

Midfielder with 2 free strikes that's hardly a back 4 responsibility. Shouldn't we have a midfielder tracking him?? And a true Albion supporter would support whoever plays. Not just there favourites.

Anything in the central area of or around the penalty spot should be dealt with and ultimately the central defenders are the ones responsible and yes a midfielder could and perhaps should have been back helping out. As regards support I am a true supporter who supports whoever is wearing the shirt at the time at the game but if I have an opinion on a player it is purely an opinion that I put for discussion either on here or with friends. I support Dunk when he is playing but would sooner that we have El Abd in the side as partner to Greer at the moment as I think Dunk makes too many mistakes but he will learn as he gets experience.

Greer i gather is not 100% fit IMO he is quality and was unlucky not to be player of the year last season. I am not a fan of Greer/Dunk partnership, it is not nearly as good as El Abd/Greer. Lets hope he starts this combo v Ull!

Players only gain experience by playing games. All our young players need to play. Thats why caskey has gone on loan to play Dunk has already proved he's more than comfortable to play at championship level last season. So therefore needs to play to progress and gain experience

Greer is crap as are all the players who played on Tuesday because everyone knows that if the Albion lose it's the end of the world and nothing will ever be the same again.

Not to the detriment of the team and results which is why thy have the loan system. The obvious answer is to send him out on loan to a DIV 1 team to play every week and gain experiences.

Greer was at fault for the 2nd and 3rd goals at Swindon. Goal number 2 has been discussed above. On Goal number 3 Greer backed off instead of challenging for a header on the edge of the box, leaving it to Bridcutt to challenge. In actual fact Greer rarely challenges for headers usually leaving it to El Abd and Dunk. I stand to be corrected but I can't recall Greer scoring with a header last season, indeed he rarely challenges for headers on attacking or defensive corners...

...and yes I love the Albion and will back Gordon Greer....but I am allowed an opinion and use NSC as a forum for Albion related debate (an ad hoc ramblings)!

I didn't think he played badly. His defending for their second was unfortunate, and frankly bizarre, but other than that he didn't do much wrong. Over hit a few passes, but it's been years since he was allowed to play a long pass out of defence. It'll take him some time to warm up. Nothing to worry about from our defensive colossus.

I think he was really affected by the crowd because he was unusually weak.

That 2nd goal was the epitome of "She fell over".

Been saying for a long while now, defensively he is by far the weakest out of all our defenders. With the ball at his feet i think he is excellent but i challenge anybody to watch him on corners or long balls into our box and see him win a header against the opposition,it's a very rare occurrence. He is a must to the way we play out from the back but for me a centre half playing in the championship should be able to win some headers in his own box and as for going forward for corners i've yet to see him win a header let alone score from one.

I doubt he was affected at all to be honest, he's got a very strong character. I don't think our defence did overly badly on tuesday, the scoreline flatters Swindon a lot considering how the game went, but the defending for the second goal was very disappointing.

Just going on last nights performance he looked very slow and didn't look comfortable on the ball. I know he had a good season last year but has always worried me when he tries to play football at the back.

Came what i thought was a harsh second in player of the season last year didn't he? But yea, one slightly under par performance so he must be shit.

I spent almost the whole of last season defending him whilst two of my good friends rubbished him at every given opportunity. Whilst i still believe he is integral to the way we play, defensively he is the weakest player in our back four. last night was the worst I have seen him play excluding his rash red cards.

El Abd is injured rumored to be a hamstring again and Dunk is now suspended. Unfortunately we cannot recall Vincelot so what do we do having lost Cook Hall and Elphick can we bring in an emergency loan.

Wouldnt be suprised if we see a new CB come in to partner el abd

If a new CB arrives in January , then Greer will be sweating on a new contract at the end of the season if he hasn't made enough appearances to trigger an automatic new deal.
