I don't get why people seem to want to criticise the Green manifesto so readily.
I don't believe in it 100% but as someone with socialist leanings I do think there are a lot of good ideas contained within and the reason they have my support is because I do genuinely believe in their principles.
I've lived in Conservative constituencies and under a Conservative government so I know first hand that I don't like it.
NOBODY before this election had ever lived under a British Green party MP, let alone a majority government, so condemning all those who've supported Dr Lucas and the party as "mentally ill" is frankly ludicrous.
If you didn't vote that way, so be it, but stop spewing forth the same ignorant muck about non-locals being behind the Green win and people voting to fit in.
It was a fair fight (despite the underhand episode of Ms Vere's ill advised flyering) and the Greens have won.
