Born and bred in Brighton and voted Green. She can have a massive say in what happens as no-one has a majority. Every vote in parliament for once has a say. In case any one cares I voted for them just to make sure the other 3 idiots got one less seat. The political spectrum is mainly based around centre point now.
As a member of the Conservative party I urge your not to, get Dr Christian back Tim.One thing I campaigned successfully for Kirby and Weatherly.
Another thing if we do go again in 6 months. I am Standing

I will standing as Conservative Brightonian I have my £500 hidden under the stairs in case we get commie taxed.
If Nancy Platts had stood in Kemp Town, she may well have won. She was an excellent candidate and fought a really hard campaign. I hope she tries again next time round - think she'd be a good MP.

Why do you live in Brighton Tim?
You seem to either despise or completely fail to grasp the quirkiness, creativity, the cosmopolitan air and the live and let live attitude.
In short, so much of what makes Brighton such a ruddy fantastic place seems so much at odds with you. Why do you stick it out?

I would not have had a problem with Nancy Platts getting in, even though I'm no longer in sympathy with Labour, or what it has become, or that I didn't vote for her. She came across as honest, sincere and genuinely interested in Brighton issues, and I think would have been a good constituency MP. Doubtless that would have been bludgeoned out of her once she got to Westminster.
Bernie Millam looked lost at sea, but the most striking performer was Charlotte Vere. I've just watched a debate on BBC South East from last Sunday, and it looked like she didn't want to be there. Certainly it looked like she HATED Caroline Lucas (her spiteful public comments about her would only have added to that) - those two fizzed against each other. But I also got the feeling Vere honestly didn't give a toss about representing Brighton.
Looks like Agent Timmy performed quite a number on her.
