I suggested that at the first meeting, but, I think the general concensus was that they wouldn't. I agree, though, great if they did.

Which is fine if they could give good reason for why it could not be done, or why they simply did not want to do it. It's too much of a kop out to say 'they won't do it' - we need to find how things can be done, not why they can't.

Keep pushing for it Hove...

Would be a wonderful gesture by the club and the players.

The club are printing the back page of the programme green aren't they? That in itself would be a massive gesture of support and personally, I think that is enough.

They don't need to give good reason-we play in Blue and White at home.

Exactly there will be 19986 offended Albion fans if we wore anything but Blue and White, why do 14 internet geeks think they are talking on behalf of everyone ?

Internet geeks now? I've no idea why you have an agenda against this plan but if we're all just Internet geeks and you're the real deal speaking for everyone else why don't you come along to our next meeting and tell us why you think it's such a bad idea rather than these little pot shots at us over the Internet?

Go on - you talk the talk, let's see if you walk the walk. Or are you just a big man only when you're behind a keyboard?

If you lot want to help Plymouth - f*** off down there and give them some gate money! In the meantime, keep your crap away from the AMEX! Blue and white balloons only please!

Though you are well noted on here for not being particularly bright, I assume it's escaped your notice that there's plenty that are already going to be doing that.

But seeing as you have nothing but hatred and bile for anything outside your extremely limited universe, I suggest YOU f*** off, and let the grown-ups do take part in some ongoing discussions.

You've admitted there was only 14 of you at your meeting so what gives you the right to badger the club about not wearing the blue and white stripes at a home match especially a TV one ? Albion fans apart from a few of you will find that offensive, I can't be bothered about your meetings and I've got no interest whatsoever in it.

What has it got to do with you?

You hate the concept, you want nothing to do with it - so what's with the grizzling?

Answer the question, I and many others are interested. Do you do these 2 days and that's it ? Or do you want to turn the Amex into a Plymouth love in for the season ?

Why are you lot so touchy to those that aren't interested, don't want a home game distracted or don't support it ? It is a free world and we are all entitled to our opinions and I'd say a lot more of us are not bothered than people that are.

The fans getting involved in a "Save PAFC" campaign is one thing, but the Club can't really be seen to officially endorse a demonstration against the current Plymouth owners or board (whoever the hell that might be at the current moment). Thats probably why the club wouldn't sanction playing in our green away strip v Leeds.

Also, with our own campaign, the battle lines were clearly defined - "Dickhead out, Dick Knight in". But I'm not completely sure what the Plymouth demos are going to be for ? Yes they've been royally f***ed over and the club is a complete shambles, but is there actually someone waiting in the wings to take over who the fans DO favour ?

That said, it certainly needs more national media attention of course, so I'm happy to see us lending a hand being as we sure owe them one. Just hope it can help towards achieving somehing tangible for them, rather than it just being a mutual backslapping exercise which actually achieves very little.

i think that we are poles apart on this. I'd like to try to do things to help them, you don't share that feeling to the same extent. Fair enough.

I think I've already said (numerous times) that I'm participating in events to help and probably going to Plymouth on the 24th. However, I think that expecting the club to wear our away shirts for a home game is going too far, even if we are on TV.

'Admitted there was 14'. That was a reasonable number for a group of fans called up within 24 hrs to start planning this. We have had lots of pledges of support for this. The club are behind this and even our chairman, chief exec and safety officer are on board.

Let's get one thing straight. You don't represent fan views any more than we do. Some are for it, some are indifferent and some are vehemently against it. We asked the club and they said yes. You're free to contact the club and register your protest against it just as you are free to post your objections to it here. Despite what you claim, no-one's told you can't post your objection to it. Your umpteen posts on the subject are proof.

You clearly are interested in it, albeit for whatever reason, or you wouldn't keep stirring things up nor would you use such emotive words as 'offensive'. I find it amusing that you hide behind a keyboard whilst calling us internet geeks.

If you have no interest in it then can I politely ask you to leave these threads to people who do have an interest in it.
