You don't remember Gordon Brown? I'll ignore Darling because he just did what Brown told him.
I know you will point out selling the gold, but hindsight is a great thing, we still had 10+ years of good living while GB was chancellor and it was not his fault the worlds economy went pop!!
And well done to the Gov for putting an upper limit on the amount of our cash given to those not working.
There are too many work shy lazy lumps sitting around taken the piss out of those of us that pay our way.

Dare I say that 10 years of good living was funded by a credit bubble, rather than great work by Gordon Brown? A bubble which has still yet to pop.
In the mists of time Gordon Brown will be thought of as a very good chancellor and lets be honest here, Darling was getting the country moving again after the world economics fell over.

Where as Gidion cant chew gum and walk in a straight line....
BTW I have never voted Labour.
Google Dennis Healy.
Well done Bozza for starting a thread inviting all the tory boys to post a load of sycophantic bullshit!!!
Refreshing to hear Ian Duncan-Smith on the Today programme this morning saying, among other things, that families on benefits need to stop having children they cannot afford. He correctly points out that families not on benefits plan their families according to their budgets.

Don't say that ,its every man and woman's right to have six kids, live in a council house, claim housing benefits, smoke ,drink and enjoy sky tv..... isn't it?

*sigh*. Nothing refreshing about that. We've heard it ALL before from Tory government after Tory government. And as usual, they will do absolutely f*** all about it.Refreshing to hear Ian Duncan-Smith on the Today programme this morning saying, among other things, that families on benefits need to stop having children they cannot afford. Fear not - I think the Labour rabble will be keeping very quiet after this latest triumph from our brave government.
