Why was the Grazing field not included in the original plans for the stadium?
It appears to be a piece of land cut off from all sides with no real access for animals to get to it, Seems a bit silly it being as it sticks out with no real purpose or usage, and who owns it (Lewes council or individual) and responsible for its upkeep, lawn mowing etc.

Can i buy it and build a pub and eatery, and will i have problems with planning permission:jester:

Its consecrated Church land isnt it?

Falmer Church and much of the land in that area was given to Anne of Cleves by Henry V111.

The land of chocolate
I always assumed it was because it owned by Lewes District Council and the chances of them selling it to us were on the small side. I could be wrong. It's happened before and it'll happen again.

Who owns it - don't know.
Seems a bit silly - yes, yes it does.
Who owns it - don't know.
Who is responsible for its' upkeep - don't know.

Lawn mowing - that would probably be cows or sheep. Of course, there many be some more outlandish animals, such as goat or maybe even Llamas, but I would put my money or either cows or sheet for the grass mowing/eating duties.

that picture's wrong isn't it? it says that the ground is in LDC land whereas it's in B&H Council land.

If it had all been in B&H Council land, then there would not have been the need for the enquiries and wasted money fighting Lewes and a wasted 10 years !
