He obviously does so the feeling is mutual. Any manager who walks out of a club and takes all the first team coaching staff is going to get shit on his return. If you don’t understand that football is probably not for you

One of the most satisfying results in my time following the Albion was the ABSOLUTE THRASHING he got on his return.

Practically everyone in the world was saying “this will end in tears”, even his number one fan. It was obviously doomed to fail. Is it that he couldn’t see it, or is it that he didn’t give a shit because it’s win-win taking that kind of job. Do well, earn big money, and win things OR do shit, earn big money, get a big severance and end up back at a similar size club to where he started.

We’d all do the same in his position, taking our love of the Albion out of the equation. But it was probably the most predictable job failure since Sam Allardyce tried to impersonate a Playboy Bunny.
