I had a discussion on here last week with someone who concluded that Hughton was a disappointment a few weeks into his reign back in March 2015 and (he says) hasn't been back to the Amex since.

Don't think I've ever seen a press and fans group of another club so united in wanting to keep a player/manager. This bloke obviously has something about him.

The Argus reporting this morning that Potter is on a shortlist of three but don't name the other 2 and are clear Albion want someone in, in time, to deal with pre season/ recruitment.

Surely you can use this argument with any manager with the exception of the ones that finished above us in the league and I have a feeling Pep, Poch or Jurgen aren't available?

Presumably they haven't named the other 2, because they haven't been told.

If the club have told them there's a short list of 3, that might be because there is, or it might be because they don't want Swansea and Potter feeling that they're in the driving seat. We'd expect the club to have a few candidates in mind, but in all honesty, we're just guessing (with or without the Argus claim).

Palace only have one egg in their basket. Unfortunately for them it's a really expensive egg and it's going off.

think that's me you're referring to - and no I've been here through the good and bad of Hughton's reign (although fortunately did miss some home games this season)

my point still stands - it's commercially ridiculous that all our replica shirts are available for 6-7 year olds apart from our actual home kit.
