I think the thing that stood out was how he was instantly looking to blame somebody, if it had not been recorded I bet he would still be bollicking Sue as we speak, he is known as a bully with a nasty temper and this illustrates it beautifully

He can't talk his way out of it. The best thing for him is to move on and pretend it never happened.

Well he's never going to be allowed to do that.

Brown has dropped an ALMIGHTY bollock with this one. The media will be all over it for the remainder of the election. He was looking wobbly in the polls beforehand, and tomorrow was his Joker round, his big chance to get people on his side again. Now its just going to be a case of damage limitation.

She obviously did not like eastern Europeans. Therefore she is bigoted against them.
i think you need to go to one of those places where they de-programme people from various religious cults , just because someone expresses concerns about immigration , they dont automatically become a bigot, you've been brainwashed.

thats hardly the point, whether its literally true or not. its the dismissive nature of the remark towards a sympathetic voter in a marginal seat.

do you really believe this wont have any impact?

 Yes I think I do. Looking at the news again I feel he should not have called her that. He said it but should we really care? I am sure Cameron and Clegg say things about people they have just met. Brown was just unlucky.

This is almost certainly true. But it is an indictment of modern day politics that Brown will be grilled more about this gaffe than about his policies and the state of the country.

Imo Brown is finished as the leader of the labour party even if by some freak of our ridiculous electoral system the labour party secures the most seats with the third highest amount of votes.

What the Oxford English Dictionary says bigot means is:

"obstinately convinced of the superiority or correctness of one's own opinions and prejudiced against those who hold different opinions"

Is She the bigot.....or Brown?

Unfortunately this will mean politicians in general are going to become more and more suspicious of the media and less and less frank in any discussions. I can't stand the bloke, but it has to be said this was a private comment "caught accidently" by the media.

It's a good job none of us have EVER done such a thing

Says to self "That should keep the dumb f**ks happy at least I've commented"

Nope your right Labour were never realy going to win the election now were they, could have told you that two years ago to be fair.

Thats true but Libs and Tories stand to gain, more so the Lib Dems I expect because they are a centre party and less right wing!

I do not understand the rantings of the first sentence there but I do not think it will have any impact because as he will not win the election anyway.

He has to do that or he may as well throw in the towel now.
