Chucking coins at us is not nice!!
We were one block to the left of the keepers left post about 10 rows back, stayed to the very end, and I can categorically say that I saw no coins or saw any being thrown. All I saw was lots of silly posturing. That's not to say that no coins were thrown elsewhere though. Admittedly the largest part of their crowd was the other end of our stand , outside the players tunnel, just as your photo shows.

I dont understand the sympathy that club gets.. They are in the position they are because they spent well beyond their means. I know that is not the fans fault but they were giving it large when they were signing players like Currie and Parkin who we could not afford.

Exactly, I can't see why everyone is so wound up unless there is any truth in what someone above is saying, that there were coins chucked at us.

but had they been a "big club" like a Leeds, then they would not have had 30 points deducted, what was the difference between what Leeds did and what happened to Luton, so why they massive difference in punishment?
I for one hate to see any footbll club go out of business, and if this final means they can survive their (unfair) relegation then good luck to them i say, had they not had the points deduction, they would have 32 points and be 17th

Leeds got away very lightly, as you say because they were a "big club".
Luton still got what they deserved, although I think it would have more sensible to just relagate then to the conferance straight away. This season has been a write off for them, knowing that we will be in the conferance next season. If they had been put straight down, they could have been looking at promotion this season back to the League

I'm not for one minute implying that you are, but someone else said on another thread (?) that Albion fans were also involved in the exchange of missiles, so it could have been seen as retaliation?

They were chucking coins at us towards the right side of the stand ,one missed me by a whisker. I was one of the last to leave, felt like chucking something back but thought better of it. There were a couple of fights outside on the high street and the cops were dragging a few away but it seemed to be mainly luton fans so kept my head down.
This would have been about 15-20 minutes after the finish so most Albion fans had gone.

Bit harsh, but their fans are utter cocks. Nasty bunch who will no doubt cause trouble up and down the Conference next season. Hope the stewards are ready

I am a luton fan, but have lived in Sussex for 7 years. I went to the game last night and am both touched and saddened by what is being said, Yes Luton is a sh***ole and an element of their fans are wa***rs, but don't tar us all with the same brush. I would have been happy to see Brighton win, as my son is a junior seagull, and he was in floods of tears last night. I just feel sorry for MA, the team and the fans, they deserve alot more out of this season. I told my son that supporting a lower league club is tough, and I am amazed how he keeps the faith during these tough times. Going down to the conference doesn't bother me, I quite enjoy watching that level of football. But I find it hard to imaging that Luton will be playing at Priory lane next season.
