Aside from the rubbishness of last night I was kinda glad Luton went through to the final and not some other crappy side. Through there extremely hard times after being f***ed over by the FL I hope they continue to exist in Football and not go down the pan and fritter away after relegation.

We were there once and my GOD imagine...just IMAGINE what could've happened if we lost at Hereford?! Luton are in the exact same pickle (well except they have ground) and I wish them every success at Wembley and all the best for future Survival.

I agree, over the two legs, they were the better team, they wanted it, they fought for it and they got it.

Some of their fans were being total idiots after the final whistle, but the club has been screwed over by the footballing powers that be, and it is a bit of an "up yours" that they got to Wembley.

I dont think they will beat Scunthorpe, but they deserve to be there!

I agree with the sentiments.

Fact is if we wern't going to win the JPT, Luton would have ben my second choice - the fans don't deserve the bad luck they have had recently.

As we were saying on the train back, many of us were appaulding them until the twat element of their support decided to start abusing us and offering us out.

I have sympathy for their fans who understood why we applauded, the rest of the them can go f*ck themselves.

To be fair to them. They're entitled to gloat, we'd probably have done the same. If we weren't so pissed off with the current situation I think we might have given them a clap instead of the "you're going down" treatment.

Good luck to them, oh and I loved the 30 points banner. It's a disgrace how the FA does this to clubs and I hope they have a good day out sticking 2 fingers up to the league. That law needs to change.

we were just to the keepers left post, and everyone around us was applauding them, until they started goading us... total wankers and hope they enjoy Eastbourne next season

Quite happy for them to celebrate but fail to see why they think they can mouth off to us and not get a response.

OK lets stop with any sensible stuff.

Hope they rot in non league and the Conference find some loop hole to bounce them into the Ryman League.

I agree with that. Luton-like Croydon but with less class. I have never seen us win at the shithole that is Kenilworth Road and their fans define 'chavs' perfectly.

Special mention to their groundsman-how can they be taken seriously when their playing surface resembles a potato patch?

Seconded. My applause turned to chanting once their twattery started.

Would be nice for them to do Scunthorpe at Wembley, though I can't see it happening, just to give their decent fans something to celebrate after being shat on by the powers that be.

The trip to wembley & the financial reward that goes with it means that Luton will probably bounce straight back from the conference, so in a way it's payback for the points. However I was looking forward to a day out & am royally f***ed off with the result, now we are out my interest in this trophy has gone so I dont give a shit who wins it & consequentially wont bother wishing either side any luck( like it makes a difference anyway)

Without contradicting myself I sort of agree, the more I think about it the more it does make me a little angry.. Look at Grimsby that day we got sent down. both sets of fans applauded eachother, it's happened a few more times too (but i can't remember exact games)

And Luton is a shithouse... so yeah I guess I'll jump on the they can f*** off bandwagon

I doubt Luton will bounce straight back. The BSP is a tough league to get out of.

I don't disagree with you but with £1million plus from the final & the backing of a decent board they will be a very big fish in the conference
