I don't see the problem with him being booed. He has not done anything in his whole career (on or off the pitch) that is worthy of being cheered or clapped. Not from where I am...er...lying.

Then boo him when he is playing for chelsea against your team, in my book , it is the height of stupidity as an england supporter to boo an england player,i cannot stand gary neville yet wouldn't have dreamt of booing him when playing for england, if you feel that strongly about his off field behaviour that you feel he shouldnt warrant selection then register your disapproval by staying awaty from the match, attempting to disrupt a single player in a team you supposedly want to win is not the answer, and proves your a bit of a twot, as is hustpierpoint wanker or whatever he's called.

Cool. Who shall we target next? If we get going quick enough we can make the whole squad quivering wrecks prior to the world cup, then burn loads of effigies when they fail.

Right, pass me that mound of paper mache, I'm going to make a start on Wayne Rooney's ugly face...

Correct answer I'm afraid.

If I'd been there, I'd probably have mouthed the words "f***ing nob" to myself every time he touched the ball. Mind you, I'm not sure whether this is because of the fact he has no class with the way he treats his mates or whether it's because of his ridiculous chavvy haircut. A bit of both I think.

I guess it depends how much England being successful means to you. I would like England to do well, but I detest a large amount of our team. I don't feel they represent me.

Our usual failings on the international stage do not bother me so much. Brighton encourages feelings of rational anger, sadness and joy. England is a bit... oh well.

I guess I have a passing interest in the national side, but I wouldn't go as far as saying I am a supporter.

Great idea Jimmy, I've got some pipe-cleaners, we can make a Peter Crouch as well!

Terry should be big and ugly enough to cope with a few boos. He should take it on the chin. Afterall, his behaviour is the root cause of the booing. He only has himself to blame.

But in all honesty, there are only about 3 dickheads in the England set up really.

What's wrong with the likes of:
Wayne Rooney
Theo Walcott
Emile Heskey
James Milner
Joe Cole
Michael Carrick
Jermaine Defoe
Peter Crouch
etc etc

OK, Lampard and Gerrard are a bit annoying for footballing reasons, but if they deliver the big one, they will be heroes and rightly so.

The problem is that the reason they don't represent us is that they earn silly money and are revered by thousands at club level despite being clueless, annoying, thick mongs (for the most part), a fact which is amplified by the incessant media coverage. It'll always be like this I'm afraid, unless we suddenly have a team of Graham Le Saux/Matt Le Tissier/ Neil Webb educated types.

Either it's the game of the people (in which case you have to accept stupid people will play the game) or it isn't.

Anyone thats boo's him should be kicked out of the ground IMO. They obviously don't want England to win if they are trying to put off/upset one of our most important players.

Off the pitch activities do have an effect on the pitch. This is the sort of dumb comment that really pisses me off. It equates to those that say clubs shouldn't have points deductions for going into administration. Cheat off the pitch but be allowed to get away with on the pitch. One is inextricably linked to the other

Sorry my "Dumb" opinion "pisses" you off, as for going off on a tangent regarding the points deduction system

You are clearly a very self opinionated person, who will never make a dumb comment ever

Sorry if the point I was making went over your head, I will aim a bit lower next time.

Wayne Rooney - Temperament still suspect, and inclined to get on his team-mates when HE is not playing so well.
Theo Walcott - fast. But.... that's about it unless he passes the ball.
Emile Heskey - lumbering wall for defenders, but too slow as an attacker
James Milner - Nothing wrong that I can see. Great player for England
Joe Cole - Had very little match play over the season
Michael Carrick - Not much wrong there. Great shot, mobile and positions well.
Jermaine Defoe - fox in the box, if he can be fed the ball there
Peter Crouch - tremendous most of the time, great with feet and lanky for high balls.
Gerrard - not always effective
Lampard - ditto. Both are good, but can get bypassed.
Shawn Wright-Philips - tricky and nippy, excellent qualities for a winger.
Gareth Barry - solid, should be first choice for his position
Rio Ferdinand - mood-swings... make him great, or just awful.
Wes Brown - no idea why he's picked for us. A dodgy choice altogether.
Leighton Baines - didn't he do well! No, actually he didn't. Leave behind.
Ashley Cole - rubbish as a defender imo, but good on the left wing. 2nd choice to Milner though.
Mathew Upson - Not convincing at all. Probably shouldn't be picked - shame about Wayne Bridge.
John Terry - Unfortunately the best for his position.
Micah Richards - Very useful player, should be in the squad
Jolean Lescott - ditto
Ashley Young - ditto
Gabriel Agbonlahor - should certainly be included
Carlton Cole - okay but not great.
Bobby Zamora - Actually yes. Greatest assist-man in the league, should be considered (ahead of Heskey particularly)
David Bentley - if he keeps performing like he has since returning to TH 1st team... take.
David Beckham - A must-have. I see little reason not to take him to SA
Jermaine Jenas - jury still out. Would have to see how he looks over the rest of this season.
Aaron Lennon - similar to SWP but not a great finisher, same assessment as Jenas though.
David James - 1st choice keeper. Dodgy at the best of times, but has got better than ever.
Robert Green - decent but probably not as agile as we could hope for.
