I would make eye contact whilst walking towards him, and then shake my head slowly side-to-side in a "dear oh dear, what HAVE you gone and done" kind of way. I'd then let out an audible SIGH just at the moment when we pass.

I can only IMAGINE the maelstrom of conflicted thoughts and negative vibes I would leave whirling round in that brain of his after such an encounter. I'm CONVINCED he'd go home and have a little cry.

Can't blame anyone for wanting to live in Brighton rather than Surrey ...

I'd sing this little ditty to him (shamelessly nicked from Sunderland, re Darren Bent):

Glenn Murray was blue and white once,
and now he's red and blue.
If you pay him more than Palace do,
Then he will sign for you.

I like this one too:

Glenn Murray came from Dale,
He was dynamite up front,
But he buggered off to Palace,
'Cos he's just a greedy ****.

Apparently Glenn Murray has said that he still wants to live in Brighton even though he is now at the scum. He has been advised that for his own safety it maybe not a good idea too!!! The man really is clueless

Absolutely no need to take it any further until he crosses the white line. To be fair it will probably piff him off more, if and when spotted in Brighton you just blank him and walk straight past. That will shatter his ego

Murray is a lot of things but I'm not sure egotistical is one of them. He's the last player to welcome supporters talking to him.

This thread is linked to any regarding the negativity towards the 'ultras' or people or H block or whatever, I question how passionate our support, in general, really is. , Up north, say, i've picked one at random, Stoke. In Stoke they sing any old shite without any fear of reprisal, old codgers wear replica kits and if their top goalscorer signed for Wolves he'd have turds posted through his letter box (and not just dog's eggs) down south, The Ultras are 'cringeworthy' singing Al-beee-un is 'cringeworthy' anyone over 10 wearing a replica shirt is, let's say 'cringeworthy' and when Murray goes to Palace anyone threatening to fart if stuck in lift with him is admonised as 'it's only football' or better still told to 'get a life'. I'd personally never physically harm Murray or abuse his family but in my opinion there's nothing wrong with calling him a [unt.

Without trawling through 8 pages of shite, can I get clarification on whether or not anyone is planning to 'take Glenn out' ? ("And I don't mean to the bingo")

Agree with all this apart from the Al-beee-un bit. It is shit.

One, and not in any of those places, proving what a bunch of clueless bellends there are on this thread. The same clueless bellends that wouldn't say a word to Murray (not on their own anyway) because, as a professional sportsman, he's probably quite hard and would rightly smack them right in the CHOPS.

So what if he still lives in Brighton.
Leave the man alone.
Anybody who has tried to sell a house in todays market knows it takes a while as opposed to the day after agreeing a contract with another team.
Be real.

I'll bet you anything that Tony Meola's Loan Spell would certainly go up to him and call him a c unt if he saw Murray.

He's also from Cumbria and probably made from girders. Given that the first teams he played for were Workington, Barrow and Carlisle I suspect he learnt how to handle himself.
