I note the appearance of Roy Harper at Plumpton in 1969. I saw him at the Fairfield Halls in 1970 and it remains the worst gig I've ever had the misfortune to attend. The miserable git decided he couldn't be arsed to perform and instead, treated everyone to a tiresome monologue interruped by occasional strumming. Fortunately the Strawbs (also on the Plumpton bill!) put on a stonking show.

alot better then i thought it has to be said, thought she'd be more a novelty act but still got it..

didn't think much of the Editors last night , nor the Kooks despite being a big fan but The Killers were AWESOME!!!!! them and the Arctics from what i've seen have been the best so far:thumbsup:

Really? I was very impressed with The Kooks. Agree about The Editors and Lily Allen was also very disappointing. Terry Hall seemed to be the only bright point in her set.

On a more positive note, I don't really like The Killers, but that was some performance. Amy Winehouse was very good too (although slurring somehwhat in her Saturday perfromance!). CSS, Babshambles and Arcade Fire were the other high points from what I have seen, but it does seem to be a Glasto lacking something special. Cue The Who??

The Killers were class, caught some of that on BBCi earlier. artic monkey looked decent, and it's a pretty good showing from the Who.
