Was Pete Townsends dedication to Paul Weller when they played Pictures of Lily the insult I thought it was? What is the story there? Also loved PTs comment on the greatest rockstar.

God almighty the 'Oo are poor. Daltrey's voice is pretty much shot. Looks and sounds like a second rate tribute band and the playing is all over the place. Glad I saw them when they were good. Very disappointing
Daltry has adapted his vocals very successfully over the years. The 'playing' was excellent. If you let us know who the second rate tribute bands are who sound like that, please put the details on here, I'm sure that many people will flock to see them.

Just watching the full Caribou set - absolutely marvellous stuff. Its the one set where I really wish I'd been there - quality electro beats, beautiful sunset!

Pete Townshend is a nonce who was cautioned for accessing child porn and placed on the sex offenders register , well done for "loving" his comments.

Also, check out the end of Hot Chip as Caribou join them for a run through of Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark which changes into LCD's All My Friends. Had me dancing round the lounge.

This is bloody brilliant!

Exactly my thoughts and feelings when i was watching it especially when the track unexpectedly segued into my favourite LCD track. Apparently on The Other Stage at the same time Grandmaster Flash, George Clinton and Mary J Blige were up on stage helping Mark Ronsin with Uptown Funk. Only at Glastonbury.

Just been watching that Hot Chip set - top notch stuff. As you say, great finale. And I Was A Boy From School was also a triumph.

Enjoyed Belle and Sebastian earlier. They played some crap off the new album - the Stevie Jackson led Perfect Couples is dreadful - but was in general a really fun set. The Boy with the Arab Strap was amazing and brought back happy memories of Barcelona a few weeks ago.

Ryan Adams was amazing on the Park Stage. Should be the sort of act who is considered headline material on big changes if people weren't so into heritage acts.

Haven't had a chance to see the B&S set yet, but love the new album esp The Everlasting Muse, did they do that? I really like Perfect Couples

Agree about Boy From School, I have always loved this song. They opened up their gig at Ally Pally with it a few years back..set the gig up beautifully. Mind Huarache Lights is also a great opener. Very lucky to be seeing them again in September.
