Like this new Weller stuff

Don't like acoustic screens, it's a live gig not a studio FFS

Charlie Watts certainly uses drum screens these days. It's fair to say they're not commonly used for gigs though.

Only so he can see the set list

Please can somebody answer this, I'm intrigued.

Bloody good though is old Lionel.

Helps with onstage levels, particularly in smaller gigs where the drums are loud on stage so everyone else turns up which means the stage levels are higher than front of house. Even using in ear monitors it can be a problem. A sound engineer may also prefer the sound of the drum mics when they are contained like this. Unusual for such a big stage though.

Anyone know why The Who are on TV so much later than the actual stage time?

Work Monday is haunting me!

Christ how MOR has Glastonbury become?. This is painful, massive crowd looking very disinterested.

Maybe it will improve with some Commodores material...

Can only agree with this - Glastonbury overall this yearhas been totally uninspiring - Not many up and comming bands that have turned my head feeling "must look out from them" too many average bands, too many TOTP style sets as before it was taken off air and too many oldies claiming one more piece of stardom

Looking forward to the Who but even they are well past their sell by date

Mrs is watching some detective crap on ITV so I thought I'd watch The Who online only to find out you can't watch it live but have to wait until 22:40 the same as the TV coverage.
