Every bloody year…my birthday is International Women’s Day.

I’ll be 63 on Saturday. Really looking forward to another Glastonbury - so many acts to be excited about. Sadly I am working the Saturday night so will miss Charlie XCX - that will be absolute mayhem.

Now looking forward to the stage announcements.

Plus there’s the hidden sets and cameo artists. Rumours of Fontains DC which I think will win over a lot of new fans!

They’ll be headlining in the not too distant future…most likely on the next album tour cycle I reckon.

Disappointed with this I must say. I and others have posted genuine views on a music festival line up and we're getting an inference here - that because we didn't share your view - we might be sexist. Poor form.

The only link I was making is they’re both signs that spring is here. I thought that was quite obvious? Why on earth would saying Glastonbury is weak imply you’re sexist?

And they're the real ****s. I get put off by going to Glasto because of this kind of snobbery. I have some friends isn that I know who get tickets every year, cliquey bunch too. They love to tell everyone how many times they go and they rub it in when they get tickets.

Re lineup, lots of bands there I would see, headliners can get in the bin pretty much. Would LOVE Oasis to be the surprise but aint gonna happen.

Awful headliners, decent bands on the undercard. I popped to Glasto last week and it really is the weirdest town I have ever been to in the UK (inc. Hebdon Bridge). Full of magic potion shops and witches but a couple of cracking pubs though.

I stayed at the Glastonbury Travelodge one year, the night before the gates opened. I spent an evening in the town, aside from what you mention, I remember thinking there’s an awful lot of purple coloured things in the town.

Why be put off? I've been to Glasto 10 times since 1995, last 5 times on the Recycling Team, going up on my own. In that time I've never been near the infamous SE corner, only ever had a few beers and the odd bit of weed, loved the cabaret, circus areas and the Park and have always had a brilliant time not "doing Glastonbury" as many others do it. The festival really has something for everyone.
