You're nowehere near the worst offender, but you were posting weather forecasts etc yesterday and generally dismissing DP's argument. And to say he used capitals in the wrong places is just pathetic. I can't believe the stick a bloke gets for suggesting a game in DECEMBER when we're experiencing FREEZING temperatures "might" be postponed.

You are emphasising the "might" part of it which was what Yorkie was also saying, rather than the "off"
DP then quoted the ones he owned and I didn't see Yorkies name mentioned and yet you seem to take great capital from telling her she's talking BOLLOCKS and owes him an apology.
I think I am with the programme sunshine.

Alot of backtracking going on here, why don't you just have the dignity to admit that yorkie was wrong for trying to belittle DP and apologise, you are in an arguement that you have already lost.
That other bastion of morality Lord B took the piss out of HB&B on page two, I think an apology is owed to him as well.

I would not bother anymore DP. If pillocks on here do not like what you warn them bout then let them turn up tomorrow when the game is called off ( if that happens ) then drive by and laugh at them :)

DP hasn't posted much in the last hour.

I've got visions of him currently driving up and down Tongdean Lane in one of those cars with a loudspeaker on the roof...

Absolutely the funniest thing about tonight. I've been smiling all the way back to London thinking about the grief that was given to the Penguin.

I shall be ringing him next week for the lottery results.

Theres no way this game will be off.
Ahem

Clearly I stand corrected. Sorry DP.
The ref is still a DICK of the highest order today though. If there was any doubt at 2.30 this afternoon about the pitch being frozen for tonight, it should have been declared "in doubt" at 2.30 (NOT "definitely on"), and then declared off at a subsequent inspection a couple of hours later at least.

Grrrr.

The covers are on the pitch and it's cold out there, the club thinks the game tomorrow might very well be OFF, so be warned... check tomorrow and take nothing for granted!

Any chance of predicting the lottery numbers tomorrow....?

Sorry....didn,t see Clapham Gulls post.

To be fair the ground apparently was OK this afternoon, you could get a stud in it allegedly! The temp this evening dropped by an unexpected 5 degrees or something.

I'm liking this word WANKCHOPS though

I've not used WANKCHOPS for ages.
Poor timing on my part this time, but I do intend bringing it out of retirement.

I'm glad you think it is funny.

Your thread title should have been written

Gilling game MIGHT be off

then people wouldn't have taken the mickey. By emphasising the word OFF you were scare mongering.

What the f*** is your point? He said the game migh be off and it was eventually postponed. How the f*** is that scare mongering? Surely scare mongering involves a suggestion that does not come true?

I can just hear myself using it in the car on a regular basis, along with all my other 'special' words that I cant help shouting out at rubbish drivers!

The sign of a true gentleman. Knowing when he is wrong and apologising when it is relevant. Bravo.
