No. Definitely thwarted. None got through that pesky plastic, did they?
I thought they ripped down the first section but got stopped at the second ?

Only ones who legged it were families etc. The others stood.
That was some tarpaulin. 100-odd Wall fans steamed past a line of stewards to get the two dozen Albion fans only to be thwarted by what must be the toughest piece of canvas ever constructed.
Dont know what happend behind me , and being a area with lots of kids in quite understandable if parents did usher their kids away , i would of done the same , but if those there had not stood their ground i would hazard a guess that the millwall fans would not have stopped at the 3ft bit of netting that separated the 2 sets of fans at the start of the handbags , but they didn't , why didn't they ? because their bluff was called by a 100 or so supporters not willing to be taken the piss out of , nothing big nothing clever and nothing violent , we just stood together , pity its not the same on the pitch .
From the North it looked like a pretty extensive exodus westward as the knuckle draggers charged, very few Albion remaining where they were.
The one right in front of the Brighton fans? Yep, that one.
I think the point is that it was all bravado. IF..... any of those fans had wanted to get past the canvas then they would have done. And that was proved by the way the first sheeting was tossed to one side. I'm not disputing that it must have been scary for families but all Millwall fans did was invade a neutral area next to a very sparse section of the Amex that night.I'm just glad it came to a halt in the end. There were a lot of frightened people in the Albion section. If people want a fight let them, but if I was a parent with kids in there that would have been an awful experience,
Typical millwall, bunch of hyped up c**** acting hard, on the bridge after the game they were all chanting and giving it large until a handful of brighton fans went up to them, had there not been so many coppers they would've got what they deserved. They're nothing but vile, sub-human scum
Millwall fans also tried to get in the north stand concourse ..got a bit tastey
Is it true you uttered the words...
"If you want some, I'll give it ya"
They did indeed, the best part of that was there was about 10 of us outside( mostly smokers) who were arguing the toss with the stewards as to why no one was to be readmitted back in to the North,The Millwall hoards turned up,the stewards retreated back in shut the doors and left us outside leaving the way for millwall to get stuck in.
The moral of the story is it would appear smoking is bad for your health after all.
One of them decided to punch a female steward on the bridge and ran off.

If you goad Millwall supporters there's normally a reaction. What was unsurprising was how fast our supporters retreated when the invitation was accepted.
