My dad is spitting furious about the "conspiracy" to stop it being an all English final again! It's so funny to wind him up.

Immature, yes. But do I care?! Woot!!!

Wow, Drogbas balance seems to have returned. That much contact during a game would normally cause him all sorts of trouble. But here, he doesn't fall over once, and tugs on his shirt aren't cause face-clutching agony. Amazing.

Right, Mr East London Seagull (love your haircut, love you like a brother incidentally)

On this forum, we all love football and incidentally some of the stuff Brighton serve up on a Saturday afternoon.

What we saw tonight was "England" (well, a Team based in England), vs "Spain" (well a team based in Spain).

Putting aside all of the other shite that goes with it (and I dislike Chelski for all their shirt selling shite that attracts our fan base to Russian Rubles), I actualy think Chelski should have won that.

From a purist football perspective, I think the ref was bought. 4 pen claims, disregard 2, but still 2 legit claims. f***ing rubbish.

I guess from a purist football perspective they'd be a mediocre mid table /championship side not propped up by the spare change of a Russian billionaire.

Oh well there you go.

I'm glad Barca went through, but i hate the away goals rule
How a team can progress to a major final by drawing twice games is a bit of a joke imo, i would have preferred extra time, pens or a replay at a neutral venue.

Yes the away goals rule is stupid.

Fix that and introduce a play off system for Champions League qualification and I must just start watching it again.

I can never remember, is it Dago's or Wop's when one is referring to a football team from Spain?

Great result. Give Terry and Drogba some match suspensions for going at the referee and fine Chelsea hard. :ban:

Is there not a respect campaign going on at the moment?

Well done Barca, I can't stand Chelsea anyway, bunch of greedy pigs. It would have been boring having a Chelsea, Man Utd final.

It's Spics (short for Hispanics). But Barcelona come from Catalan so I suppose we should really call them Cats - although that doesn't sound nearly derogatory enough.

The right result I suppose in the end (over two legs), but the referee was shocking.

Yes it is amazing. When he is on his game he is such a good player. But such a poor sportsman.

Of course if Drogba had put that chance away on 52 mins instead of passing it back to the keeper then it wouldn't have mattered and we wouldn't have heard anything about all the penalty appeals.

Indeed.

Blimey, if I was a chelski fan I'd be really pissed off by those pen decisions, but Didier 'the cheat' Drogba had his chance to finish them off and blew it. And considering the amount of times he cheats himself, it's an extremely dramatic piece of irony that he seems to have lost the game because of a dodgy ref! Oh well!

Matt Horne has updated his twitter saying: "Ban Drogba for life. Disgrace. Pathetic,aggressive,unsportsmanlike,unprofessional-the culmination of years of cheating, endorsed by Hiddink(!). Get. Rid. the handball, MAYBE... The other 3 appeals ha ha! Not a chance... Webb and Stiles'd never've given them"
