Are you going to break down in tears?

No. But I can understand how upseting it could be.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/7006084.stm

'Defender Ricardo Carvalho said: "It is a very sad day for me and the team. I had a big offer from Real Madrid but I stayed at Chelsea because of Mourinho."

'Makelele added: "This news was like a bomb for me. I would never have believed we would see the exit of the coach just two months into the season.'

'A huge question mark will also hang over the future of England midfield man Frank Lampard, who has already put talks on a new contract on hold and was regarded as one of Mourinho's most trusted lieutenants in the dressing room.'

What a nightmare.

More passion in that statement than ANY of the Chelski players have shown the club or their fans in the last 3 years. Team of mercenaries.

Had a bloke in today whose boss is a Chelsea fan. His (the Chelsea fan's) attitude was 'good riddance to bad rubbish'. Apparently, he didn't like Mourinho because he had a big ego...

You've got to laugh when it comes to pointless statements like that. He may have had an ego but so what? He had to deal, on a daily basis, with over-inflated egos in amongst his playing staff, plus the biggest ego of all, that of the Russian owner of the club.

Nothing like holding the club to ransom. Nothing like pulling heart strings of supporters.

Here's a prediction. About 5.30pm on Sunday Man United will score a third, the entire ground will be singing 'Where's your Jose gone', and all the Chelsea players will come back to the dressing room and get on the mobile to their agent. Mass exodus, Abramovich off, and within 18 months back to mediocrity.

And the day before Chelsea face Man U at Old Trafford, Avram isn't taking training with the squad....because of Yom Kippur.
