Did you see that bloke in floods of tears on the News because Jose left, get a life.

I listen to Talksport everyday, and these Chelsea fans keep coming on and saying that they can't believe what has happend to their club.
It sounds as though someone has died.

I am not kidding you, one person texted the show yesterday and said that they had supported Chelsea for 2 years and will now be throwing away their season ticket.

I am so glad I support and proud to say I have supported the Albion all my life. I will never ever forget my father taking me to the Goldestone ground in the early 80's.

I just cant believe the amount of plastic fans out there.

How soon is now?
I think its hilarious. Right from the moment Shevchenko arrived and the relationship between Abramovich and Mourinho broke down it was only ever going to end in tears. And despite the fact that they were able to buy 2 Premiership titles and the domestic cups, with Abramovich's eventual/inevitable meddling there was always going to be an air of instability at team level

The whole thing is totally over the top. It's not sad, it's not funny, it's not the end of the world. In fact who gives a toss. Managers come and go, Chelsea and Jose are no different so what's all the fuss about.

It must have been a spoof - but there was a funny text yesterday along the lines of "I have been a supporter since 2004 and I am so disgusted I am ripping up my season ticket" ...................

Watching SSNews last night, the bloke presenting stopped mid sentance and came out with

'And some huge breaking news coming out of Stamford Bridge, A club statement say's that a compensation deal has been agreed with Jose Mourinho'.

How the f*** is that huge news? Then they went live to a bloke standing in the middle of the road in Chobham. I have absolutely no idea why. Then back to the studio 'oh yeah and there was some cricket or something, anyway now to live pictures of Mourinho's washing line.'

funny - I normally see loads of Chelski shirts around but they seem to be absent over the last few days. Wonder why.

I shall be wearing my Albion top proudly tomorrow and cheering on the blue and whites in the safe knowledge that they can call the team crap, the fans gay but they can never call us glory fans.:albion2:

Hopefully they will revert back to the 50s and 60s when most seasons chelsea got promoted to Div 1 and Fulham got relegated then they swappedovera couple of years later. Always have been and always will be little club even more so when the russian money is pulled out.

They have a 64,000 seater stadium and an ernormous commercial arm. They have won the Premiership and reached the last 4 of the Champions League on 2 of the last 3 seasons.

Chelsea are a big club. You might not like it, but there it is.

Got to admit I think its hilarious but not unexpected.

My only worry is they get a decent manager who get the likes of Bollock and Shevchenko working then they may be even more successful and that would be painful.

Mildly amusing that yet again the over-rich chairman of a club has taken it upon himself to interfere with the footballing authority of the manager to ill effect. When will these people ever learn? (See Milan Mandolin (sic) for reference)

I have to say it's staggering how over-bloated they made the news...SSN is and always will be an embarassment: "Coming up, the latest fallout on/from..." FALLOUT???!!! Wtf?

The guy bawling his eyes out on the news made ME cry (with laughter, of course!). Haddock'd love to see this fella's repertoire at a funeral.

Chelsea are in essence a medium sized club, far smaller than Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham. The fans no doubt appreciated the good thing they were on and they surely know deep down that they are now out of the Prem'ship race (Haddock's Liverpool for champs prophecy is taking shape nicely  ). I feel a little sorry for the genuine fans but there are sooo many plastic fans in their number that it's easy to  at yesterday's news. They lost the Special One (it's A Special One if we're into quoting properly his original remark). But is that more of a tragedy than us losing Coppell / having our 'yes' to a stadium turned back into a 'maybe next year, dear' decision as has been the case in the past?

Same as the ManUre fans crying into their replica Prem'ship trophies when those nasty Americans took over just before 'sir' Phallix Twerperson delivered them yet another title.

P.S Last year ManUre made a profit of £30m, while Chelski made a loss of £80m despite having won a title in that financial period and got to a Champs League semi. If RA says bye bye at ANY time in the next few years that joker on the news will really have something to cry about!

Oh well, Yeovil at home tomorrow...:drink:

Would suggest thatis 44,000 - not 64,000 (and only half full on Tuesday)

Anyway, I hope Lampard / Drogba leave, and Chelsea slide down the league.

They are such a LUCKY club - remember they were 90 million in debt and close to going bust when the Russian came.

Agent Kenyon has done a pretty good job for Manure there - took a bit longer than he thought but it's downhill for Chelski now. Shame.

Ha ha ha, that is hilarious.

The facts:

- Stamford Bridge's capacity is 44,000.
- After winning the League for the first time in fifty years, they play the team that had won it the previous season - Arsenal - on the opening day of the new campaign. Chelsea had to take out a full page ad in the Standard to advertise the game 'cos they couldn't sell out the Bridge... in a city of 8million!

Big club, my arse.

Also, in 1992 they got 7,500 for a midweek home game with Southampton while we got 9,500 for the Goldstone visit of Palace, in the ZDS Cup!

Big club, my arse
