Why would he fly to Biggin Hill when Gatwick is avaliable, or is this a throwback to days of yore?
Knowing absolutely nothing about short noticed arranged private air travel (so basically this could be complete bollocks).....I would imagine it's probably an awful lot easier to get a landing spot at Biggin Hill than it is Gatwick during the summer holidays.

There was footage of Fabian H having a pop at Pedro on open day for not getting involved. Should we read too much into it. Was a bit weird seeing fab acting like a school teacher when he's so young.
But 31 isn't young for a schoolteacher.

Thanks for this.

From what you’ve seen of him can he play further back as an 8?
Further back as an 8?? No.8 is a forwards position, Peter Ward says so.

In fairness if Mitoma, Enciso or Pedro have a good season we probably only have one more of them anyway.
Yes but I'd much rather have them for that season with them playing, scoring goals and creating great moments than not. Especially Joao Pedro. The idea that he would leave now, after just one season, even if we got a huge fee for him, would leave a bad taste.

Or even Brighton City (Shoreham)? On a suitably sized plane, obvs...

One of the great joys of my life as a kids football coach is being able to dish out the shirts with proper numbers on to the players, and number 8 will forever be reserved for the more attacking, advanced of the central midfielders, NOT a forward!

Sorry Wardy.
