Got to be ahead of Pedro on the team sheet for me moving forward. In fact the front four picks itself now moving forward.
Yes. Yesterday was our best front 4.

I also think Joao Pedro can excel as a last 30 mins type player, where the game is opening up and he can exploit more spaces.

Same team, (if possible) for Friday

You are right.

In comparison to Pedro at No.10, whilst I believe the Brazilian is the better player, Georginio just works better with Welbz and is a better fit for FH’s system. But as you point out, the last thing a defence needs (that has been told to push up to help their team get an equaliser) is Pedro coming on with 30mins or so to go. Chelsea’s fear of conceding a third certainly blunted their attacking possibilities last night.

Also, a mention to another one of your 4. Minteh at right wing has established himself as the No.1 option. Like Welbeck, he is a defenders nightmare. He occupied two last night before the first goal which meant when he passed to Veltman, the master of the dark arts had all the time and space in the world to produce a Groß like assist (of which he is fast making a habit of doing).

His work ethic too - he gets back and often makes crucial potentially goal-saving challenges.

Also Minteh works hard off the ball and tackles well, shoring up our right flank in combination with Veltman. So I agree, he's now the clear first choice at RW.

And so skillful.

At times the ball just sticks to him like glue, it almost seems impossible.

Great vision & execution for both the initial pass and the assist for the 2nd goal yesterday, as well.
For a guy who, on first glance, is a unit, that touch, the amount of touches he seems to be able to make in a very small space, it’s actually really rare. It’s not like he makes huge strides. He seems to be almost balletic. It’s really unusual. Very very hard to get the ball off a player with such a unique combination of touch and power. Top, top work from everyone at the club. It’s not like he was an unheard of, but someone had to take the risk; to identify the potential. I said he has a much higher ceiling by Joao Pedro (he in a different way and on his day is absolutely superb and I stand by that.

and the execution was perfect. waiting until 1 minute before midnight on the last day before his buyout expired, to take the choice out of the hands of Leeds and to prevent a bidding war. A piece of art!

Pedro looked really happy when he came on. A little smile. I liked that.

Yeah, Georginio number 10, All lovely.

Anyone got a Gif of him looping that ball over the top of (I think) Caicedo and picking it up again? I almost stood up and applauded (in chez Bobkin, not the stadium!).
I gasped, pointed at the telly, and said to Bob:
"Did you see that? f***ing brilliant!"
(I think Bob tutted).

They don't call him "Velcro" for nothing!
