Taking too long, this one. Yes, I know, before someone comes along to tell me these things take time, that these things take time - but why, in a simple case of triggering a release clause?
Anyway, it is taking too many pages on NSC (39 and counting) and the bloody Kadioglu one is up in the 80s now, I think. I'll only believe that one when the club makes an announcement.
Surely irony which has caught out a palace poster.

Obviously it's always good to win any game, but l wouldn't read very much at all into what was, to all intensive purrposes, little more than a training exercise, and a chance to show off our skills, in a friendly match with Villareal.

You say that, but I do feel that by the last friendly of pre-season, you expect to see something resembling the team you’ll watch when the season starts.

It’s good to hear. Under RDZ I didn’t feel like there was any real attempt to mitigate the high risk levels, whereas when FH signed I remember reading that when it came to defence, FH had the St Pauli players watching Man City and Arsenal rather than us, and me thinking that was a good thing.
It proves he's not a Neanderthal, which is indeed a good thing.

Looking back at the OP and the original tweet, it's weird how many of the Leeds fans make comments about Brighton always wanting their players. And one said we want to be them. I don't recall us buying any of their players in near to distant history. And so many comments stating Leeds shouldn't deal with us because ''they f@cked us about with the Ben White saga'. What? Leeds offered a small amount for our player who went on to be sold for almost double their offer, completely justifying our position. They rightfully have a reputation for delusion, it's great to see them live up to it.

I can’t be the only that shouts the county I’m from each time I leave a mode of public transport can I?

Triggering the clause, negotiating the contract, doing the medical... it does take time, if you have time to do things properly. And there's no rush really, with the bid made just two days ago he was never going to play against Everton anyway.

Sometimes you have to rush things but in this case no need to do it - he could say goodbye properly, pick up his belongings, do a full medical instead of a half-arsed transfer deadline one, and both agent and club knows there's plenty of time to get a contract both sides accept.
Yes, I said somebody would be along to ...................................

I’m so surprised no one from the grammar police has picked you up on that one that I’ve had to step in. Sorry!

No.

He played on Wednesday.
He has not trained with the team.
He does not know our tactics in detail or where and how Hürzeler wants him to play.
There are no reports that he was registered with the Premier League yesterday.
This.

Also I believe cut off point to be registered for Everton was Thursday midday. Not that he was ever going to be

Realistically these days you need many training sessions before being considered

Yes someone would be along to give you a sensible answer. What did you want?
I expected somebody to come along and tell me what I had already said I already knew, that these things take time. I hoped they wouldn't, but I was pretty sure that somebody wouldn't be able to help themselves!

I mean when he signed with Leeds, he surely expected to go from there to a big club. Brighton isn't exactly that. If Leeds are able to convince him that next year bigger fish are likely to be in for him, maybe he'll take the guaranteed star role in Leeds over the difficult competition in Brighton.

I think he'll come, but I'm not considering it 100% done.
You’re not going to like this but you are sounding a bit RDZ
