You would love to have him playing alongside Lambert as indeed we would also.

Hand on heart, I was delighted when we didn't sign him. He's energetic and will score 1 in 8 chances maybe. We're setting our sights a lot higher, thank god.

I think that TB should break the bank and try to sign George Boyd in January to provide the balls for CMS to score regularly.

Any views preferably constructive rather than just f..k off senile old b......d

I'm totally with you on this BG...Possibly the best midfielder I've seen this year and would suit Gus' style of play in the Vicente mould.

No I wasn't, I notice he didn't score again though. IF I did go to watford though I would have probably fallen asleep watching your football philosophy. 0 shots on target wasn't it?

I'm lost now, do you have your own board, thought the discussion was about George Boyd, so who scores 1 in 8 chances? Stupid snide comments uncalled for!

You're the one who asked me if I was at watford last night when I mentioned Craig "tap in" Smith, he was only a prolific goalscorer in a gung-ho team,

Not true, he'd score shit-loads in your current team!! Give him service and he scores...he is barely touching the ball for us at the moment.

Ive been saying this for three years..... and I still think so. Versatile, captain material, great passer and scorer. He does soemtimes go missing but players like him always do. Peterboro would be nowhere without him... he is their engine room.

Same question to you. How many times have you actually seen him play?

I don't know what truth if any there is in this, but I heard CMS and Vicente are on 22k a week. Surely if this is true and we are paying that kind of money then we must be able to attract the right kind of player like boyd who wouldn't earn that money and would be an excellent player to have to bring the best out of our £2.5 mill player.

I bet you're looking forward to the January transfer window aren't you? Gareth Bale, Oxlade-Chambermaid, Theo Walcott. I wonder who the big boys will be looking to take from you this time around. It's a good job we're so lacking in talent that it's not something little old Brighton ever has to worry about.

I overheard a conversation when that was mentioned and the person speaking, who said he was a relative of BHA player said that those figures are absolute rubbish and the highest paid player was on about 50% of that. I dont know (a) if it is true (b) how he would know for sure; unless he was an agent.
