I doubt it very much.

Why, if you know anything about him, you'll know he's a loyal man and he has been given a second chance, free of injuries here. His family are all about to enjoy the spring and summer in Sussex, somewhere that can't be beaten IMO. He's happy, we're happy with him and will offer him a reasonable wage im sure.

Boyd is a footballing genius. I'd love it if we signed him. CMS would get back to 30 goals a season and we'd be in europe in no time.

If you heard that knob Adrian Durham earlier tonight he was saying Boyd's his favourite player and the most gifted he'd seen in 35 years at the Posh, 'Big praise' i know.

Have a butchers at these:

How did CMS and Boyd fare together last time they were in the Championship?

If Vicente was 33 0r 34 years old he might well be happy to stay, but at the age of 30 he still has the ability to play at a MUCH higher level. If at the end of this season he is still injury free he's going to receive better offers than we could ever afford. My betting is that he will end up back in Spain. One wonders why he has not learned to speak English yet as he has been over here for quite some time now. I understand from a Valencia supporter that certain Spanish clubs are tracking Viccente's progress.

The learning English thing isn't a biggie for me. If Gus, Tanno, Calde, Reyes, Assulin etc weren't here maybe it would have been.

Vicente's a loyal sort. I think he'll stay.

While I've always rated George Boyd, and would have loved to see him sign for us, we are now at a level above where I think he would flourish. As a team new to The Championship, he would be a great signing, as he has teh ability to help a team fight their way to mid-table respectability in this division. But if we are looking to continue at the position we are currently in (or better), namely a Championship Play-off team, then I think that is a bit beyiond him.

As hard as it is to believe, we have reached a level of play, and maybe even expectation, that is beyond his ceiling I'd say.

A) he wouldn't want to join for us, B) he's not good enough at this level and C) don't ever quote rumour sites!

I've said this before, but the clamour on here at various times for us to sign players whose squad has finished below ours for the last 2 years baffles me. P'Boro have some good players but I genuinely don't think any of their team would be better options that what we already have.

As for the CPFC thing, he can go there for all I care. He'll just be a pretty good player in a pretty shit team.
