All up and running. Entered the "New Joiner" competition, although I think this happens by default. Put my Sheffield Park photo on, and got 2 loves and one comment in the first 15 minutes. Can't work out how to see the comment. Will enter other competitions, and as you say, will be stretched. I will be looking for X's for the next few days!

In a little village called Callian in the south of France, about 35 miles west of Nice.

Hi JS, it reminded me of this image we took, when in Sicily :)

Hi.

In general you can't walk up to birds so I spend time studying their behaviour, working out where they like landing etc, then getting in position and waiting. I probably spend more time watching the behaviour than taking good photos but the more you understand the behaviour the more success you will have.
Noticed some Turnstones under the pier recently. Spent a couple of sessions watching them, and today, went for the kill! Your advice seems to have paid dividends.

I was quite pleased with this.

Last night's Channel 5 programme "Slum Britain 50 Years On", had some stunning black and white photos of the awful conditions people lived in in the '60s. Incredibly atmospheric and really made you feel how horrible it was for some people. Even more frightening is that this was happening when I was around ten years old, not in Victorian times. Best link I could find https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/2340288/slum-britain-50-years-on-channel-5/

Wanted to watch this but was recording too many programmes at the time and seeing it was available on catchup thought I'd try again today.

Having looked it's not one of the options so hoping it's repeated soon.
