Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Fritillaries, Blues, Ringlets and Skippers, puddling (taking in salts) in a tiny water channel in the French Alps. Not much of a photo as such, just an amazing amount of butterflies in about a square foot.
After I've edited all 500 or so, I'll post a few of the best here in the next day or two.

A Fritillary taken near Vars in the French Alps. I can't make out which species it is. There's so many Fritillaries in France.
For the second year in a row, the only fault I had with our trip, was that it was totally sunny every day. We never saw a single cloud! This gives shadows, which ruins a lot of photos.
However, this one I was quite pleased with.

Us commoners know it as montbretia 🤔

This is from my back garden unlike your estate….its doing f all flower wise 👀

It was once called Montbretia but was reclassified as are many plants. I am sure it's done to wind us up. Mine is starting to display quite nicely, I have several varieties, some are not yet blooming but I can just about see their nascent flowers pushing up on new stems as they develop. I am sure they could do with more sunshine as they are in the sunniest spot of the garden but it's very sheltered and only full sun until early afternoon. Oh and I do water them as @Harry Wilson's tackle suggests! (sorry for the poor quality picture!)

The wild flowers in the French Alps are a sight to behold.
There are fields full of these Martagon lilies.

Another Fritillary I can't identify. It's one of three, but I won't name them if there's any chance of being wrong.
