It's extremely sad that so many need to suffer to show that socialism doesn't work. And yet we have millions here who want to put Corbyn in power. WTF?

I can't vote Tory, as I'm not voting for a witch who claims she can heal with prayer.
And I feel that voting Labour sends out the message that socialism has a place in our society, which is frightening.

Maybe I need an imaginative way to spoil my ballot paper.

Post #5013 explains it for you.

EDIT - and how ironic you didn't answer the question put to you ! I'll give you a clue, the question part is the part ending with a '?'

are you seriously saying no body knew what they were doing when they put their tick in the box

Jesus, you're hard work. Do you ever actually read what people write in response to you?

No, no I'm not. I am saying:

* some who voted remain did so because they believe access to the common market and other EU benefits comfortably trump the EU pitfalls
* some who voted remain did so because they believe access to the common market and other EU benefits comfortably anything the UK can manage on it's own, which is why we opted into the EEC in the first place
* some who voted remain did so because they didn't know what Brexit meant
* some who voted leave did so because they were worried about the federal path the EU is taking
* some who voted leave did so because they are upset about a particular issue - immigration being the main one, but also the cost with us being a net contributor

Anyone who fell into the last category did so without knowing their vote would fix their concern because we haven't seen the terms of divorce.

You really are a nice person.
I'm sorry, I can't take anything you say seriously. I get more sense out of my six year old.

But to clarify in this instance, I was merely highlighting to pastafarian how ridiculous it is for him to accuse others of not answering his question because they don't happen to like his binary choices.

I don't understand these sort of opinions. I assume you like the NHS? What's that if it's not socialist?
What? The NHS and education are types of wealth distribution which can exist in a capitalist society. Supporting capitalism doesn't mean you don't also support a progressive taxation and supporting the poorest in society. The funds for the NHS and education etc our provided by our capitalist society. That's not socialism.

Looking towards the future, socialism is going to have to play more and more of a role in society (automation). Why is it so hard to see that this can be on a spectrum and the socialism that exists now in England and can/will exist in the future does not equal STALIN.
You're very confused about what socialism is.

Why not just vote for who think the best candidate as a person is and who you think will do the best for people in your constituency? I assume you're Hove, so surely Peter Kyle as a candidate and a person is surely the best of the bunch there?

I can bring myself to vote Labour for the first time in 20 years - they are the opposition and they are what we have - their candidate does it for me too.

I know what you mean, but the question is who will you vote for, not who will win.

Although I'd like May to be PM, I can't vote Tory, because Kirsty Adams claims she can heal people with prayer - we can't be represented by someone spouting that BS.
And voters here like Lucas being there MP, which is fair enough. God forbid the Greens were actually in charge of the country though. The Green candidate for Hove, Phélim Mac Cafferty, is put forward as a man with a proven track record of being on the council. A strong track record for ****ing things up.

Actually a strong track record for f***ing things up and despising the British Armed Forces.

You seem to have changed your question.
You must be a lib dem......only they are full on weasels
..

No, no I have only asked you one question. You're just changing the conversation as you get slaughtered, with some nonsense about lib dems and weasels. Here is my question:

Is pastafarian a moron because:
A) His questions are loaded and pointless
B) He can't accept an answer he doesn't like

If you answer anything other than A or B, then by your own definition you are either deluded or a weasel. Or as it's my question, perhaps I should be allowed to label you with a suitable insult in lieu of either of those.

Soulman, as you're a bit slow - you will want this explaining: this is a hypothetical question in order to prove my point (that he may choose to answer my question with an alternative, but that won't mean he hasn't answered the question). Please note that I am NOT suggesting pastafarian is a moron.

I don't think I am mate.. To be honest you're making my point for me. I don't disagree with what you're saying, I disagree with the brigade on here that seem to think corbyn will lead us into a communist future, which is who that video is aimed at. It's just as bad as all the remainers thinking that the sky will fall in with brexit.

Seems strange to me that numerous remain voters who appeared to be significantly motivated by safety first economic considerations are apparently going to vote for a party that will introduce numerous problematic policies that could seriously derail the economy .. including increasing business taxes, increasing regulation, increased power of unions, increasing living wage and NI costs (knock on reductions in investment) at the very moment when (according to them) we will be in steep economic decline because of Brexit.

???

Point, but project fear, experts - you know as well as I do, it's not always going to work with everyone.

It's not just about Brexit to everyone this election though and there are Brexit and UKIP voters going back to Labour too. Whatever shortcomings Labour have, they're offering an alternative and The Conservatives are now being seen as the 'nasty party' again by a growing number and they've gone to the right and just seem to be dancing to The Daily Mail's tune. They actually make George Osborne look like a nice bloke now.

I really don't know what to do. I've always voted Tory or Labour. I won't vote LD as I'm a leaver and the LDs tried to stop us getting a ground.
I'm going to have to find out what Charley Sabel is all about.
