I have not looked at the detail, but this would for example:

School has 1000 pupils and receives £500,000. Equates to £500 per pupil.

School has to accommodate an extra 18 pupils yet still receives £500,000 (ie no budget cut). Equates to £491 per pupil.

Actually, i misread it - 9% cuts and -£286 per pupil by 2022 under the tories, along with 4 less teachers. The methodology is very vague on that website, based on "sensitive information which is why it is not generally available".

I've never liked that the term is thrown at anyone successful, who reveals any left leaning stance, or any socialist principles. That is a nonsense.

I think the term has a place, where seeking to highlight hypocrisy. But being successful, and having (and sharing) a social conscience are far from mutually exclusive.

This. It's nothing more than a cheap and simple shot.

but she has been unable to answer simple questions or provide any substance, giving nothing answers and soundbites, the entire campaign.

That's what all politicians do in all interviews. When Labour are asked how they're going to finance their plans, they don't have an answer (other than 'we're going to tax the rich', which isn't exactly the precise detail we need).

This is something individuals from sides of politics have commented on.

38 Degrees is a British not-for-profit political-activism organisation. It describes itself as "progressive" and claims to "campaign for fairness, defend rights, promote peace, preserve the planet and deepen democracy in the UK.

It is a biased website.

It was sent to me by someone who it scored as very much conservative.

It doesn't matter who sent it to you.

I've wondered about this. I'm not deluded and I think the tories will win, but I did wonder if we'll have a shy labour vote this time round. Especially given how the polling figures showed the policies being so popular with the leader being so unpopular. You see the stuff like the mail yesterday giving 13 pages of bile and guff to smearing Corbyn and it does make you think.

Well, hats off and fair play to all you Noble Order of Brave Stayers that are doing all-nighters.

For me, it's comparable to Christmas for the under 5's - an air of excitement tinged with an air of expectation and predictability - no point trying to stay awake to see Santa struggle with his big sack of gifts for you - just get to sleep and hope you wake up in the morning surprised .... and you got what you asked for!

Seems you have two choices

1/ Make the most of the free education, health and state support you've enjoyed for the last 50 odd years and try to make a better life for yourself (which may mean working hard and not constantly whining about people who are working harder to make the most of their opportunities)2/ Go somewhere else and make the most of the opportunities there (although you may find the change of culture, language and weather a little challenging !)

But I'll guess you'll go for option 3. Carry on taking and moaning that everyone else is taking what's rightfully yours
