I was being slightly facetious with regards to the economy but there is a fair argument to be made that the economy is in a worse position than five years ago.

Ok. I obviously disagree on the second point. No one feels the way they did about the economy 5 years ago. 5 years ago we were all worried, now we're optimistic (maybe not you, but the large majority of people).

Anyway in another five years it will be clearer, as will the state of the NHS.

So how do we, the public, make the tories aware that we don't want them to sell off the NHS?

Super David Cameron shows again that the electorate doesn't support the Tory party. Yes they are the largest party, but it will be 23 years since they won their last majority. The mandate will again be for left of centre politics and yet we will end up with a right of centre government.

Labour have got such a huge problem going forward. They have lost Scotland (maybe forever) and I can see UKIP in the future targeting seats in the North of England. Their traditional core regions are under threat....they truly have done dreadfully tonight against an incumbent govt that have had to push through a lot of painful policies in very testing economical times.
