There's an awful lot of people that have had little or no pay rises in the last few years (Mrs H's wages have gone up by two quid a week in 4 years) and when they hear about we t the economy they think "well it hasn't got better for me". Couple this with constant stories of the people at the top getting big pay rises and people feel that "We're all in it together" is a bit disingenuous.

Disingenuous, I'd use stronger word(s) than this.

Hold on a sec Enrest, they introduced gay marriage..... party of the rich, could be argued.... you may not like them, but to call them incompetent is disingenious, you cannot back it up......... they inherited a calamity, a financially bankrupt country with the worst economic forecasts of any major western country, they may well leave in 2015, and if they do they will again leave an economy that is better than any western nations, with higher growth than any other (from all independent economic forecasters)... and these was born of policiy decisions that Labour invested all their economic credibility in saying "would not work", its FACT it has worked, its been tough, but its far tougher now in France and we would be where they are as Balls Economic model and ideas were similar to Hollandes.

"Incompetent" is not a word any tribal Labour supporter can cast with a straight face

If they're doing so well why are the almost certain to lose the next election?

I wouldn't be surprised to see UKIP weaken the Tory vote while disillusioned Lib Dems and the floating voters of no particular affiliation will side with Labour.

I'm sure the millions struggling on minimum wages whilst the rich get tax breaks and the unemployed youth will notice this.

Are Labour going to make sure every employer gives minimum wage earners a couple of quid an hour more, because that is the only way out.
Are the Labour party going to make things easier for people by lowering everyone's bills, I think not. It will still be the same.

The only thing that is certain, is that the gap between the 5% and the 95% will continue to rise massively over the next term of government.

On top of that Labour lost control of our borders, they got us involved in wars, they sold out, spent a lot of money and fcked things up.

They left us with an overpopulated island, short of housing, short of good quality jobs, a debt that needs to be paid back, and a country that now swims in political correctness to cover up the mistakes made by them.

Probably with the deregulation of US banks from the Carter administration onwards, although likely made worse in 1999 when Bill Clinton repealed the Glass–Steagall Act, coupled with the increasing globalisation of finance institutions and interbank lending.

With the Thather/Major governments. The privatised everything and as a result you now have a cartel of energy companies fleecing you. And these governments drove wages down to such a degree that Labour had to introduce a minimum wage.

Remember, it was Labour which introduced the minimum wage. And Ed has said he will look into energy bills.
