me to, Labour could win, seems there are enough tribal lemmings who are willing to stick their head in the sand and overlook the fact they left government having bankrupted the country (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8688470.stm) just like they did in 79. pretending that all the economic pains of recent years are the result of cleaning up a catastrophic economic inheritance left behind by Labour...... against Economic wizz Ed Balls constantly repeating that reducing the deficit "will not work" and there will be "zero growth", that was all ditched for the next soundbite when it proved to be bollox, "cost of living crisis"..... then as the economic situation improved further and our economy is the fastest growing in the western world....what will happen to our pathetic and impractical "energy freeze" soundbites..... exactly was was predicted when the ridiculous soundbite was first pushed....... with falling wholesale energy prices up to a third cheaper the energy suppliers dont drop the price to consumers.....they "freeze them" in anticipation of red ed's impending freeze, so every household today is paying up to 33% to much in anticipation of this ridiculous policy........
Yes Labour could win and bankrupt the country once more with centralised, debt riden, tax raising mismangement.... if only, if only they had picked a leader who was a bullied nerdy berk and had more charisma than a potatoe.
Seeing as the Tories need at least a 4 or 5% lead over Labour to win a majority it will be interesting where this sudden surge in votes will come from, a Tory party in disarray, the leader sunning himself in Portugal despite half the world being at war and the only policy they can come up with is more demonisation of benefit claimants.
As the Tories couldn't win in 2010 despite their being the most unpopular PM of all time against them how the hell will they win in 2015 when the whole country knows what a nasty, devisive, spiteful, incompetent government they are.
Think you will find that a seven point lead for the oppo this close to an election is historically very low. There is always a swing back to the incumbent in the actual vote. Labour have a big advantage that their support is more concentrated (and constituencies on average smaller) but 7 does not sound anywhere near enough to be more than largest party at best. LDs may lose a lot of seats this time; I foresee a minority government struggling for several months as in 1974 then another election.
It'll be a hung parliament with Tories and UKIP running the show in a minority coalition government.
Clegg will resign after the Lib Dems' poor showing.
The era of Green Labour begins with Caroline Lucas as leader of new force in British left politics.
Ed Milliband leading this great nation? Ha ha ha ha.
You sound every bit the tribal lemming to be honest...
do you think UKIP will really win seats GR? i dont see it in a general election personally

I think a lot of people will be surprised next year. They're going to have more seats than the Greens, I think.

Hold on a sec Enrest, they introduced gay marriage..... party of the rich, could be argued.... you may not like them, but to call them incompetent is disingenious, you cannot back it up......... they inherited a calamity, a financially bankrupt country with the worst economic forecasts of any major western country, they may well leave in 2015, and if they do they will again leave an economy that is better than any western nations, with higher growth than any other (from all independent economic forecasters)... and these was born of policiy decisions that Labour invested all their economic credibility in saying "would not work", its FACT it has worked, its been tough, but its far tougher now in France and we would be where they are as Balls Economic model and ideas were similar to Hollandes.
"Incompetent" is not a word any tribal Labour supporter can cast with a straight face
Which constituency do you think UKIP will win ?
