The bookmakers Coral have released their odds on who they think will win Thursday’s leaders’ debate (with winning defined as coming top in the YouGov poll). Nigel Farage is the favourite. Here are the full odds: 7-4 Nigel Farage, 11-4 Ed Miliband, 7-2 David Cameron, 6-1 Nicola Sturgeon, 9-1 Nick Clegg, 11-1 Natalie Bennett, and 25-1 Leanne Wood.

Yes, those are generous odds for such a skilled politician. Don't fancy Farage's odds much - a) he struggles when the subject moves away from immigration/Europe and b) he arouses a lot of antipathy in people. Yes, he'll get his fans saying he did well no matter what but there also large numbers who'd say the opposite - no other politician will have that handicap

Natalie Bennet should be 5000-1 if her previous TV debate is anything to go on. I agree about Farage, he might have his band of merry bigots but he is also hugely unpopular with many people. If the YouGov is accurate then his views will allienate him from many.

Doesn't matter whether it is the Tories or Labour who get in, nothing is going to change.

How about a lower council tax bill for starters. I'm paying £170.00 a month for a band D property under LDC. Why are our council tax bills some of the most expensive in the country? What's so special that LDC need to charge us so much. Lewes is number 8 on the list. http://council-tax-rates.com/index.php/most-expensive-councils Why does nobody protest against this?

And stop sending billions to the EU every year and spending billions on foreign aid where we feel that we get nothing back from it.

Council tax bills are set locally.

What you mean like giving India 1.6bn and they spend 10bn on submarines. I remember many years ago the Indian PM stated that India did not need aid from the Uk, but it still continued.

Farage is certainly hugely unpopular with me.

He's said he will resign as UKIP leader if he doesn't win his seat. I can only hope, but is there any chance of this ?

Can anyone explain to me why Labours support in Scotland has appeared to collapse? I would of thought that after Gordon Brown helped in the referendum debates their would be a pro-labour rebound. I am missing something so what is it?

Exactly the same for Wales. They want funding "parity", but only if that parity is with Scotland.

It was Gordon Brown's "Better Together" speech which swung the result of the referendum away from independence. Labour voters in Scotland however saw that as Brown being used as a puppet with his strings being pulled by Westminster.

Working there a lot, I know thats not the case (bar some pockets in Glasgow), I saw a piece the other day saying that most SNP voters don't want independence but want nothing to do with an elitist and old school Westminster. Its a very Anti Tory vote as well.
