Hmmmm. John Pilger, who presented the documentary.
Since his early years as a war correspondent in Vietnam, Pilger has been a strong critic of American and British foreign policy, which he considers to be driven by an imperialist agenda. Pilger has also criticised his native country's treatment of Indigenous Australians and the practices of the mainstream media. In the UK print media, he has had a long association with the Daily Mirror, and writes a fortnightly columnn for the New Statesman magazine.
The New Statesman, who's editor at the time was......... Mehdi Hasan.

yep that is the chap.

so you are not going to watch his documentary because.........

He disagrees with UK and US foreign policy?
Thinks the aboriginals were treated badly?
or
He once wrote a column in a newspaper edited by a muslim?

Dude, this is a bit rich after the video you posted.

Accusations of bias are always going to exist when someone differs from ones own viewpoint.

One thing i am pretty sure of though is the integrity of John Pilger's reporting. Yes he has certain beliefs about the way the world is and they drive much of his work. However these beliefs are based on what he sees and what he has reported on.

I do not claim to be an expert on the man but as far as I am aware his journalistic integrity has never been in question

Fair enough but, all through this thread you have questioned the integrity of links that are put up against your stance.
If it's anything like last year, and this year at this time, we shall be talking about the same thing next year, at this time. Hamas will fire plenty of rockets into Israel, Israel will respond.
After a week or so, the Israelis will look like the aggressors and a ceasefire will come in.
Over the next 12 months, Hamas will rearm, with the help of supplies from Saudi, Iran etc.............. and then, around about this time, rockets will be launched back into Israel.
Israel might not be so soft next time, they might not e bothered about the perceived outrage of the world....... and hit them harder.
Anyway, we disagree, but a decent debate.
Hopefully a peaceful solution might be found.

Yes, but I did read/watch them first :lolol:

agreed. I enjoyed it.

I suspect it will take better men than us to sort out this mess.
