Gay 'Pride'

I know people who would, I believe, hate it for their (currently very young) children to turn out to be gay once they explore and develop their sexuality further.

I just don't understand it, I really don't.

If my little Mads turns out to be a lesbian it wouldn't make a jot of difference to me. It's terribly cliched, I appreciate, but as long as she is happy then that truly is all that matters to me.

Gotta say 'Well said Sir'.:clap::clap: It is a bit worrying that there's a remote possibility that Mr Fish is not in fact on a wind up as sadly there are some individuals who actually do believe what he (or she) posted.

It wouldn't be possible for my kids to turn out gay as the way I brought them up.

Of course the more it becomes fashionable and acceptable to make this choice then there is a danger of this

No, there's not a chance in hell they'd TELL you if they were gay. You don't "turn out" gay, in much the same way you don't choose to be born.

What newspapers do you read, out of interest?

Do you honestly think he can read ? I reckon he gets somebody else to read NSC and then dictates (oops I said 'dick') the same person his response.

Like, nerr, you're making out that sexual recreation is ONLY for, well, re-creation. If that was the case, one, the world would be hidesouly over-populated (far more than it is now), and two, the concept of contraception wouldn't have been relevant.

Did you intend the impregnate the last person you shagged?

No, but if it happened I would accept that 'it' was a natural product of a natural act between consenting adult members of the opposite sex engaging in the natural act.

Since some you people want the word "natural" explained - I suggest you must have missed some essential lessons in life, and biology class.

This argument will obviously go nowhere though. The fact remains that everyone who correctly points out that homosexuality is just plain wrong, is going to get any number of convoluted arguments from homosexuals and their sympathizers - to reshape the perversion to suit their already-involved behaviour - and say that anti-gay person is the one with a problem.

Yeah, it's all very loving, whoop-de-doo, kissy kissy, mince mince, nudge nudge.
Aaahh, look at those nice boys, they are in LOVE  and let no man speak against such wonderfulness.

Alright, I am not about to tell these homos they must stop, must change from their ways, must even start apologizing to God or repenting from their ways.
But I'm certainly not going to support the concept that it's all right, perfectly natural, and should be accepted as a norm, either.

4. As Pastor whateverhisname was in the second world war said: "they came for the jews and I didn't speak up then they came for the mentally ill and still i said nothing then they came for me and no-one was left tospeak up for me (I've paraphrased terribly here but I'm hoping you get the message).

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

But surelythe point is; what business of yours is it what they do in their own time? Why do people get so hung up on this subject? So, people are gay, they like members of their own sex, for fucks sake get over it. It's not your cup of tea, we get that. By slagging off some gay people you get some macho points, well done have a gold star.

And that Michael Fish comment about how his kids couldn't possibly be gay... you, sir, are a prize idiot.

I think it's interesting that most of the venom on here is reserved strictly for gay men, and the stereotypical perception that they're all like Graham Norton. Not a lot of bile directed towards gay women, I see, is that because you like watching them in your bongo films? What is it about gay men that you find such a threat towards the human race, that you don't see in gay women?

"It's a choice", what a crap argument. I trust many of the posters with that attitude have wives/girlfriends- let me ask you this. Did you decide the moment you met them that you were going to fall in love with them? Did you make a conscious decision that you really fancied them? No, it probably just happened. You can't make yourself fall for someone, any more than you can stop yourself having feelings for someone who doesn't return your affections.

You may just choose who you sleep with, to a point, and that's just as much of an issue to straight people as it is to gay people, but nobody chooses who they fall in love with, and nobody wakes up one morning and decides to be gay. They just ARE.

It's a very interesting comment that and one that hasn't been so far broached. A whole lot of porn involves two women with no man in sight. To be fair most porn is directed primarily at men so it's maybe an oddity that men who get their jolies watching two 'ladies' don't have the same enthusiasm for watching two men. Indeed I think most men who watch porn would be revolted at the thought.

Good point well made Ms Krabappal :clap::clap:

Um, wot? Any sex act is natural - that much is a nailed-on cert. To not accept it is to not accept nature - or nurture for that matter.

At least, any sex act that doesn't involve third party utensils, batteries or puncture repair kits is natural.

When he wasn't SUCKING OFF his own dad who told him he was in fact a god, instilling the fear into the poor carpenter from Bethlehem/Jerusalem or wherever the story says he lived.
