Games you wish you could play but can't

Chess. It looks so intelligent and mentally stimulating yet I don't understand the rules at all and can't be arsed to learn now.

Also I get invited to countless poker nights but have to decline because I've never played. This I will get round to learning because it seems to be one of those invaluable man skills every fella worth his salt should know, like hot-wiring a car or unhooking a bra with one hand.

seeing as i bloody love ice hockey, i wish i could do it! but i cant even ice skate, and my field hockey abilities are limited. have a friend who goes to mcgill in montreal (where they are hockey mad) and when i visited, was invited onto the rink. thinking it would be like the uk where nobody can skate and its all funny. i was MOCKED for about an hour by people ranging between 2-80 years old all seemlessly gliding past me. i was then finally guided around the rink arm in arm by 2 girls, looking like a proper idiot, and fell over too.

shockingly embarrassing, will never ice skate agian, so will never be able t oreplicate gretzky :(

Golf.
Never had a lesson bar a couple of free trials at Burgess Hill, and usually get round the easier courses when I play rarely at around 18 over par
Would love to be able to play well, but never had the time to play reguarly enough. Likewise I wish i took up cricket when i was younger, i'm still young but you get what i mean, something to do while the football seasons on its summer break.

I used to go to chess club when I was younger  with a bunch of 50+ year old men. Shocker.

I'm no good at Quiz's- shocking general knowledge.

All about practice DS and plotting ahead.

I can hold.my own in most sports. I'd quite like to be better at darts. Simply because I end up ruined when drinking darts ensue. I'm glad you put games and not sports as otherwise I would not have been able to add darts.

Doesn't drinking darts give you a sore throat?

Any of the FIFA football computer games.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE football, and because I am a young 'un I enjoy playing video games, but I'm USELESS when the two are put together, I don't know how to cross, dribble, take a corner, play tactically, take a free kick, the only thing I'm capable of doing is going amateur and doing a solo run to and from either end of the pitch.

18 over par is prob better score than 90% of people who play week in, week out!

My driving is fine, hadnt played for a year or so and started hitting 300 yards ish with a 5 wood last week at the range, but my irons and putting are a shambles.

Poker.

I'm ok at it but with money involved others can read me like a book when it comes to emotions. Playing online would get me completely hooked.
