If Tyrion is a Targaryen then so would Cersei and Jaime .

All had the same mother.

The thinking goes that the mad King had relations with mama Lannister.

May be alone here but I am pretty underwhelmed by the current series, so far.

I am feeling the same to a point but I think you need the troughs to really enjoy the peaks.

Shaggydog :(

That wolf's head looked too small to be a direworf. I'm hoping when they come to fight the wildlings they'll betray the Boltons and fight for the Starks again!

I'm thinking that Meera (and Jojen) role with Bran goes deeper than the warg side of things and will open up into the Reeds coming into play at some stage now Howland Reed's history with Ned has been exposed to viewers.

Obviously Howland is aware and watching as things unfold as he sent his own children to protect Bran.

I still think Blackfish reappears this season so perhaps he's be holed up with the Reeds. We speculate often there are still some houses faithful to the Starks and the Reeds are the first one by name that we hear are still with House Stark.

Yeah, the head they stuck on Robb's body was bigger than that and Ghost was huge when he was by Jon Snow on the table.

Is it just me who can't have much of a conversation about GoT because I can never remember any of the names? I have watched every single episode, usually without distractions, but I just can't take in all but a handful of character names. I've just read Tyrone Biggums post and I barely have any idea what he's talking about!

As for the new series, I do agree it's a little bit slow so far. I think it's building up nicely for some excitement over the next few weeks though. The lack of nudity is very disappointing.

I'm like that with all TV these days. I recognise the faces, and remember what other programmes they've been in, but in conversation I have to use the actors' names or "the bloke that was in xxxxx".

In the most recent episode the guy who stabs the knight in armour is the father of the girl with curly hair who is with the kid who cant walk.

That's kind of the story at the moment albeit with a few seeds of doubt - the obvious other possibility is the she's the son of Ned Stark's dead sister.

I'm re-reading the first book, only to remind myself of the details - I'm in desperate need of remembering who's killed/married/betrayed/got a grudge against who, and why...

JS's mother is the sister of the swordsman young Eddard Stark was fighting in the latest episode. This is from the first few chapters - I'm impressed with the plotting: something seemingly so inconsequential in Book One is becoming more consequential in Book/Series Six, it would appear.

I'm thinking this is just a continuity error. I hope the Umber is actually a Stark loyalist but I'm not holding my breath...
