We definitely do need a proven, experienced centre forward like him but I fear he'll be off and so we're going to be in the same old position again of having to get a proper centre forward in. The jury's still very much out on the others in my opinion.

He's a decent player but the money he's on combined with his medical condition is akin to signing Paul Kitson

Don't forget that a decent/"quality" striker makes all the difference in League One. Worth paying for in my opinion so if we don't get Gifton ( and look how much better we were with him in the team in the Championship) we will need to get someone who can do a similar job. We need a PROVEN goalscorer. Let's not make the same mistake by gambling on talented youngsters.. we've enough of those already.
